Just wanted to say to ZanithOne that in recent months I have found myself less interested in playing new updates because it seemed that the story was not progressing very much. BUT... just played 0.5.12 and there is lots of interesting stuff happening, which makes me actually look forward to the next update. Well done.
I was tempted to give Picard a shot until I saw a YouTube video of Riker showing up with a fleet of USS Copy/Pastes to save Picard and...some chick or something defending a planet against like half the Romulan fleet all by themselves in a fucking shuttlecraft. After that I was like "Yep, at least I didn't waste as much time on this as I did on Ep1 of Discovery." (never saw Ep2, wasn't even tempted).

Yeah, distribution sometimes sucks, but that isn't the show itself. I consider DSC quite good, certainly better than VGR and ENT (at least at that time - ENT picked up just in time to get cancelled).

Sorry, I am also active in a Star Trek related forum where they are standard and forgot to adapt. DSC=Discovery, VGR (sometimes VOY)=Voyager, ENT=Enterprise (TOS=The Original Series, TAS=The Animated Series, TNG=The Next Generation, DS9=Deep Space 9, PIC=Picard)
Actually, most people do use the letters to abbreviate the shows, as long as they know that someone is talking about Star Trek. Hell, most of the abbreviations came about from tv listings having to shorten them. And really, Star Trek has been around long enough to affect pop culture enough that if someone says TOS, most will know that its "The Original Series", even without them having to mention that its Star Trek.

enterprise i didn't care for, i kept expecting al to show up, deep space 9 started out ok but then it got all weird when it became solely abou the dominion and cardasians with their vagina foreheads
next gen was ok, didn't care for animated either but the original star trek is still gold, this is the uss starship enterprise, it's 5 yr mission is to seek out new planets and new alien women for the captain to bang and boldly stick its penis where no man had stuck it before! haha
Enterprise is kind of hit or miss. I didn't watch it at first, but did stream it on Netflix in 2013 or something. I found it very entertaining for the first season or so, but I also smoked a LOT of weed while I was watching it, so maybe that had an impact.
Also : T'Pol and Hoshi Sato
Also also : T'Pol in those decontamination gel scenes.
Also also also : The episode with the Orion Slave Girls (there were 3 of them, see what I did there?).
DS9 was entertaining...ish, mostly. It's basically a soap opera. I mean, it had its moments but a lot of it was just dull, and Avery Brooks' constant gasping for air and overacting got on my fucking nerves. Plus who the fuck gives a shit about baseball?
This surprises me. TNG is basically held as the gold standard. Season 2 kinda sucked, but it really got good in season 3, better story, Pulaski got dumped in favor of Crusher after they figured out her contract dispute or whatever the problem was, etc.

You didn't mention Voyager, but I can't really blame you, I found it pretty forgettable aside from Seven in her unitard and only caught like 5 episodes total. Plus the ship design was fugly.
When you go to the Load screen (where save slots are shown) at the bottom should be a set of page numbers with < and > as navigation through pages. You should also see an A listed there. When I click that, I see an automatic save file. Do you not see one?

Man... I've been a degenerate for a long time now, I know how Ren'py works lmao thx for trying to help though. I probably somehow turned off the automatic saving but it's all in the past because it works now. I don't know how or why though.
I guess it turned on by itself under the sheer pressure of my man-child like rage.
The wardrobe in the players room is like the fridge it gives you random stuff but you should be able to farm money from it, it might just take a while. As for a save edit approach you need to alter the state.inventory_manager.items_list.#.quantity where # is the position the cash is (your inventory is the box icon at the top of the page).
So using the attached screenshot as an example it would be state.inventory_manager.items_list.4.quantity
