Feel like theres not that many hot scenes and the story is kinda dragging out that it kinda lost me so I've been skipping thru it. its a good game i love the concept but it needs a spark. Something that would also help is if they did big updates every 4-5 months instead of really small updates every month. Best case they finish this game quick and move to a new project with modern art and visuals.

The characters do feel a little static. I'm not sure I agree with the other criticisms, but when I consider it most of the character arcs are very external - they deal with outside problems being solved by outside means and the characters come out the other side the same.

One of the exceptions - Naomi - are also static by way of their arcs just taking longer than they can sustain. Naomi comes across as incredibly bull-headed. I do like Lyriel's story though, although I think that one's also taking a little longer than it should.

If dev is using ChatGTP, i hope hes not using Tesla cars, and/or not going to one Trump Hotel.
ChatGTP sucks... Except when you use as part of an AI mod to Elder Scrolls V Skyrim npcs...
I don't know if he's usign ChatGTP or any other AI, there are a lot out there right now. But it's really common these days the use of this writing aid. People ask the AI for a plot and dialogues, and then just change some things to make it seem to be written by a human being. It's something professional journalists or screen writers are doing right now every single day. Some of the movies and TV series that we all see these days are actually written by an AI, fully or partially. And I think I detect the use of AI in this game too. The dialogues and scenes are a bit too generic and mundane. It's like the dev asks the AI for some filling material because he's out of ideas already. After all, how many generic conversations during the breakfast of seeing TV can a dev create without becoming mentally burned?

This feels a lot like seeing AI where it isn't.

People don't need AI to be generic and boring after all. We've had generic and boring media for a LONG time.

AI is extremely easy to use and is everywhere. There are dozen of tools, not just ChatQTP or Grok. There are even profesional ones. And truly make things easy for writers... if they don't mind being generic an soulless, I mean. Right now, probably half of the things you read in newspapers are news agency summaries automatically processed by an AI. If you are lucky, maybe the journalist has revised the article before publishing it. But if the journalist is in a hurry, probably he'll just publish it right from the AI processing. And we are talking about big mass media. Don't you think that a guy developing a porn game at home is not going to use that tool, if he's in a hurry for releasing an update?

i think the biggest problems i have when i play is The girls dont really seem to like you that much like make it a romance instead of you being the only dick in the house , PLEASE let the girls fuck each other or do other shit makes it feel more alive and genuinely makes improves the atmosphere of the house making everyone into it( harem hotel does this great), and i just think more girls being combined into scenes and different combos seems to be natural progression but it never happens

The thing is, I do not think that's true. You can talk all you want about AI being easily accessed, and that's true, but you don't really have any basis for the assumption it's being used here, or in over half of media. It just makes sense, to you, because you've got it on the brain.

But, like, this game isn't written like how an AI would write it. At all. And there's a lot of old media that predates AI that reads like those trashy articles today. There's zero reason to actually assume AI is being used nearly as pervasively as you're imagining.

so i have 7.14 beta, don't think the latest patch will update it??
Typically more content is added between the beta and the EA (early access) version, so unless the updater fails to allow for that I think it should update it for you.

A few days ago, the main news agency in my country, a state-owned public media (a major EU country, not Uganda, for example), published a news item with the headline “make this not look copied”. The idiot journalist copied and pasted the request he made to the AI, and published it with the news.... I'm afraid that AI is indeed widely used these days, in the press, in professional script writing for movies, series, AAA video games, and of course, by amateur video game developers. Especially one like this one who has admitted that the year has been hard and in development and has not met his expectations.

Not necessarily. I mean some certainly are, and I have tried games where I am certain they have used it even though it is not declared or even denied. But there is a difference between a journalist who is on an external schedule and needs to meet an (often unreasonable) deadline for publishing, and a dev who doesn't do this as a job and more as a hobby, where the game is kind of a child of love. They want their game to be good.

Granted, even with this start things may change. A dev may still feel pressured by the forums as an example when people invariably will complain that we don't get a GB/week of new content. Or having writer's block, just tried AI and it is so much easier. But still in general I would guess the smaller games here are less prone to using AI.

(That many of them are even worse than AI is also true, but a completely different matter)

I propose a little experiment: go to the Midreal.ai page, for example. The first 24 hours are free, and then you can continue to use it although with limited functions. Create a character called Azraesha, give her attributes: she's a succubus with a youthful appearance but who has lived for centuries, she's mischievous and sarcastic but not evil... etcetera, you know. Then create a character called MC, who is a man of let's say 25 years old, normal and ordinary, whatever.... Create the scenario that they are trapped in a house and ask the AI to generate dialogues on any topic you can think of and scenes with them as the main characters, including porn. You will be surprised.
