Not played this in months, but it says Az's and Cait's routes are complete already? Is that right? Don't really wanna play from the beginning again honestly.
Nope, both of the routes incomplete. Not played this in months, but it says Az's and Cait's routes are complete already? Is that right? Don't really wanna play from the beginning again honestly.
Having left the game this long, it seems ZanithOne just has ADHD when it comes to developing characters. News flash, no one gives a fuck about a 3 part orc girl dream, just add some content to the girls you have already. So is Cait just the designated infinite tease?
I do, though.News flash, no one gives a fuck about a 3 part orc girl dream
Actually what influences who gets content when is this:I‘m sure Zanith has the game mapped out and when which content will be integrated into the game. That said, plans can change and maybe comments like yours actually do influence the dev to release content planned for a later date to an earlier one. That‘s a good thing of the game. A lot of content is independent of what else is happening.
Does that mean that after cait is Rae?Actually what influences who gets content when is this:

Cait will be getting the next story arc, after the anniversary update.
No, it means who is going to get the bulk of the content in the next update. Its a poll. They're telling you that the polls are what determines which girl is going to be next.Does that mean that after cait is Rae?
I don't remember Zanith mentioning it, but considering that after we've had Lyriel we're getting Cait next rather than a new poll, I think it's a safe guess.Does that mean that after cait is Rae?
I do, though.
You think I‘m happy the Lyriel will have a dry run now? Or that Rae didn‘t have (m)any more intimate (not sexual) encounters added? Or any interactions with Naomi?
And do I give the dev shit for not doing what I want?
I get your point. It‘s annoying to not get the content you look most forward to and instead you get something you couldn‘t care less about. Still, I think we should voice our concerns and wishes for the game in a constructive manner and not like „just kill yourself for creating an orc girl. Let me rape the readhead already“ (that is overly exaggerated, but I‘m a fan of that)

Pretty standard practice to milk patreons by not giving them what they want. Not even saying that's what's happening here, but introducing characters and practically ignoring them isn't what I'd call a great delivery cycle.People always like to add the claim that they speak for a majority.
I wonder if it makes them feel safe when they present their own opinion as "No-one cares about...", instead of "I don't like..."?
Or, if it's simply ego that makes them think that, just because they feel that way, everyone else must, too. Right?
As the post above proves: Wrong.
One person's opinion is not automatically everyone/anyone else's.
That person does not have the authority to speak for everyone else.
Introducing characters then ignoring them? No-one's been ignored, what are you talking about? Yona has the least content, as the newest girl. Strange as that may seem.Pretty standard practice to milk patreons by not giving them what they want. I think you may be confused.I don't even mind the orc girl, but why are we getting dream stories about her when the other characters are still half baked - it gives no confidence anything will ever be finished, it's in the similar vein of a developer starting a new game while their current game isn't half done (don't strawman me, I did not say they were the same).
The 1st scene in the tavern is clearly Lyriel being mocked. The side characters are developed as much as they need to be.Let's talk about that scene with the girls from the tavern. They're not really developed character wise, they're mostly supporting cast for lyriel even in the multiple visits we've had which would've been an opportunity. Instead it's just used as a cheap "Here, I made porn!!!". It's not really hard to find some flaws in the priorities if that's what's coming above other scenes.
Well, that's strange because I picked this game up 2 months ago (at v5.2) and have seen plenty of content in the last 2 updates.Anyway, this was the case last time I was here, and honestly it's been months and months since I've checked on the game, and pretty much nothing's changed.
Look, I am playing this game for fair amount of time and I am sure there isnt any milking. Dev started this project and he/she said there would be 4 or 5 main girls at the start (If I remember correctly Cait wasnt introduced at that time) , nothing more nothing less. Maybe you can "dont mind the orc girl" but I would mind if the dev wouldnt deliver a promised character. If dev decides to make 17 main girls just to make game longer that means "milking". Besides, dev introducing characters according to story when story needs them, so what is the problem here? Do you want them to thrown at us at the begining in bulks? I dont see any problem with devs introductions, they feel natural in the progress of the story, not causing a reaction like "where hell did she come from?" etc.Pretty standard practice to milk patreons by not giving them what they want. Master of Puppets was so nice to post a Screenshot of a poll held on patreon as to which girl should get the next content. Seems to me that the dev is exactly giving the people what they want. The screenshot shows that Lyriel is leading by a large margin. As such she was the focus of the last few updates. Introducing another character did not take anything away from that in my opinion. Rather it adds depth for the players that start a new game and experience all content for the first time. There are two viewpoints that need to be taken into consideration. Long time players which likely only taste the new content. As such a player updates may seem small and not focused on what you are waiting for and new players who, at this point, have so much Content available that the game needs pacing in the form of „Wait a bit“.Pretty standard practice to milk patreons by not giving them what they want. Speak for your self. Plenty of people here support these games and just use this forum to discuss them because of the community. We are pirates here dude, we should thank to dev for he/she is here and at least hearing about our opinions. Are you sending e-mails to CD projeckt red or Rockstar like "I pirated your game and didnt like that parts, change it"? If your answer is no, than dont do it in here to. I am not saying "dont give feedbacks", I am saying be thankfull for what you found and dont complain about what you want.
It's about striking a balance really. You don't want any character to be left behind and neglected but you also want to move the plot forward AND you want to give people the things they voted for. And that's not easy.People keep saying that the dev should work on existing characters rather than add new ones. Thing is, if they go on with the story, new characters will just have much less screen time(See SWTOR), if they just add content to existing characters then it will just be like the others don't exist. Rae, Cait, Naomi and even the orc to some extent are featured in Lyriel's encounters and story, Naomi appears in certain encounters with Rae, you can make breakfast with multiple characters and so on. It will only mess up the game.
I might misremember that, but isn‘t it on the player to balance which characters he spends time with? As in, you can finish the current story line for one character while having minimal interactions with another. Or are there locks that you need to unlock a certain story scene with another character to continue with the first one? I haven‘t started a new game in a long time so, again, I might misremember.Personally I wish he'd flesh out each character more before making them a vital part in someone else's story arc.
