Kept progressing the story - and it just happened that one day you could click on the door and it was a pool. You will dream about it or something the night before it happens. Just keep getting affection and lust from the girls and they the story progresses.

That's a funny way of looking at it. He doesn't just dream about it, that is him creating the pool.

True - but from a mechanic in the game perspective - there is no "step" for it to occur. Player doesn't have to do magic steps (pick dream - dream of pool - create pool) or something like that.

Doesn't really need to be a step process, there wasn't one for the other girls either. You dreamt of something and then pulled it into the rift/created something similar.
