That's a bit tricky because the data is saved in two locations, and you must delete both. One is in the game's installation directory, subfolder game/saves. (Its purpose: taking the save data from one computer to another when the game is installed on an external drive.) The other is in a standardized location in your home directory. (Its purpose: keeping the information when you reinstall the game or install a newer version.) Where that is depends on your operating system.
My operating system is Windows 11. I have deleted the saves in the game folder, but I don't know where the other one is.
I'm a Linux user myself, but I think under Windows it's in %APPDATA%\RenPy. You can just delete the entire subdirectory named after the game.

After deleting both that folder and the one in the game folder it worked and the gallery is completely empty. The text is no longer marked as "seen" anymore either. Thank you for the help!

I get that. Kurt Vonnegut said "Be careful who you pretend to be because, in the end, you are who you pretend to be". The trick here is that Rae has a lot of different masks so you constantly have to ask yourself "is this really her, or has she switched masks" or at least "which mask is she currently wearing."
Can anyone help me out with this? I just started a new game and there's a horrible screeching noise that just doesn't go away. I thought it would after I went to bed the first day, but it just persists. Any ideas?

What you say makes sense, I think that more generally she is suspended between many different roles, maybe the Author want to give Rae different endings. So she must be able to either live with us on Earth, or decide to pursue the cause of the succubi for example.

I managed to get around it by setting the Sound Volume to 0, but I'm not sure that's a reasonable long term fix is it?

I believe the main problem is that what appears to be her primary mask is deceptive, which is bad. When I go to work I put on my town guard's cap, but I don't pretend to be something I'm not. A healthy person has a number of masks to switch between (for example, Yona has a mask for being "wife of the shaman" and a different one as "daughter of the chieftan", neither of which are deceptive at all), but Rae collects them rather explicitly for the purpose of deception which wards people off when they find out.
She could still be a good person, but a great deal of trust has been lost, and the ruins of what was there will slow rebuilding.

For me no trust has been lost, not really. Without Rae, MC would be floating in the void, in his house, eating and drinking and watching tv and generally being alive and not much else. The others likely would have come along but that wouldn't make anything better - none of them would have any idea how to etherwalk or modify the house and they'd all just float around waiting to die. So, all my chips are on Rae coming through when it counts - and if I'm wrong, and I come to a bad end then so be it.
I trust Rae because I choose to. I won't betray her and if she betrays me it will be a reflection of her, not me.

Have you checked the hash sum? Is it is only this host? Is it only FF that is doing this (and yes, FF or google security whatever service is know for it to be a little strict)?
