While in the dream sequence with Rowen, sound on. Ignoring the error seemed to return to the beginning of the dream sequence and it continued normally. Might have been a one off glitch.

Code:
I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred.

While running game code:
Exception: Possible infinite loop.

I'm replaying the game for the first time in a while (maybe .07) and I'm noticing more timing/dependency inconsistencies than I remember. Events are interfering with each other and some seem to simply work at different times than the conversation/journal suggests.

For instance, where you take Cait to the optometrist suggests wait until evening, but didn't trigger until the next morning.

The most egregious so far is Cait making a big deal about surrendering her virginity -- when we've been having consistent shower sex for weeks.

Was it tested for viruses?
And if he answer with yes, then do you believe it or not?
As it is with bugs the non-attendance of something is much more difficulty than the reverse.

I was asking other people who downloaded it, anyone had any troubles?

Cait Chapter 21... Wake up! Please report a bug you shouldn't see this.

So, there's my report.

there's too many events that require the evening timeslot. I've got a page and a half of events that all require the evening timeslot, and that's just the ones that say they do. The 'wait' events often need it too, when the timer is up someone will approach you as soon as the afternoon is over and grab you for the night. There's not much to do except see if any of the oneoffs happen in morning/afternoon then check the next evening off the list.

A lot of the etherwalk stuff could be done at night rather than evening, talk to them, they say they'll meet you at night and you can still do something that evening.

E: I have no idea how I got a quote from *2020* in my reply, sorry.

how do the dream sequences with Cait's friends work? I unlocked them all and Rowan's randomly happened, but no dice for the other 4.

I think Rowan's is the only one that's been added to the game so far, with the others to follow in the hopefully not too distant future.

The way events interfere with one another is... annoying.

As an example, I ran Cait's heist, failed, came back and went to sleep. The next day everything was normal. I went futzed around a breakfast date, random chats, and the fox-alchemy potion. Had a dream about the foxy aftermath and woke up... to find out the game thinks it is the first morning after the heist attempt and Cait is acting weird.

This isn't the first such. Go to sleep dealing with event A, wake up and discover I'm dealing with event B and only then get back to A as if it was a continuous event is, if not common, becoming expected.

On a side note, is there a way to jump forward in time/exit the maze prior to running out the clock? I had 20 minutes remaining and just had to walk back and forth to run out the timer.

I must have missed an update for it to end up this way but it was very strange to have Cait simultaneously giddy and excited for Christmas and moody and avoidant from the failed heist. Those two events should have been interspersed better. I'm kind of sick of how she reacts to disappointment, especially since she insists on being so stupidly optimistic going in. A recipe for failure.
