It doesn't make sense to the story so far. If she really loves MC as she told, why still lie to him in his face that the whole husband finding wife cheating with MC cum in her panty but he forgave her and still stay together bullshit(although the husband reaction doesn't feel right). After several meetings with MC, knowing some of his past and current situations, then still why lie? It doesn't make sense from your point of view, however the story itself is a bit fishy so I can't define whether it is a plot twist or just a bad story.

I am willing to accept Monica's version of the truth... for now, and I can believe her cuck of a husband would still take her back and beg her not to leave him or see the MC anymore, sadly I can also believe that while she is very much in love with the MC and always will be, the part of her that attracted her to her husband is still there and she still has feelings for him. She said it herself, he's not a bad man... just very boring and predictable.

That said, she will need to choose what kind of woman she wants to be and who she wants to share her life with. As much as the MC still has feelings for her, he's not exactly lacking for potential options... and if she doesn't want history to repeat itself, she is risking this golden opportunity for a second chance with the love of her life, her soulmate... just to not break the heart of a man who will never compare with the MC.

I'm willing to give her some time and space to figure out what exactly she wants, before the MC giving her an ultimatum.

Yes, sorry about that, it's just that if I don't use the pronouns, the translator makes them up and puts he, when it should be she.
And apparently he's still having problems in English because you said he confuses the pronouns.

the pronouns issue is far too common in most games written by non english speakers. it is annoying but i guess something we have to put up with. another issue with the dialogue i personally have is the mc calling Monica beautiful every other line. it's unnecessary and needs to be toned down a bit imo. yes she is beautiful but mc doesn't have to say it every 5 seconds..rant over.
