In a way, the game has merit; each chapter surpasses the previous one, though not in a positive way (and that's saying something). I'm interested to see what happens next, to see how the developer surprises us this time.

MC is a manipulative arsehole, has just gone through some deep shit, losing the love of his life (who betrayed him and then died mysteriously? ah, the suspense!!), and has come out of it as a twisted, self-centred, self-serving cunt, with absolutely no loyalty to anything he says or does, just wanting to get the next conquest.....and he has developed some weird kinks along the way. He is on some sort of retribution path...
And all of the girls are lying bitches, with their own motives, none of which he actually cares about....

Err, that's not what I said.....there is a reference to him being disappointed, early on, in Ch3 I think, with the birth of his daughter and the way it affected his relationship with his wife. I never said she cheated on him, just an inference that he somehow felt betrayed by the circumstances surrounding her death, in his reluctance to share details and talk in-depth about it to anyone.

Personally, it's one of the few harem games where I don't think any of the LIs are worthwhile. And the only one who was truly worthwhile was ruined by the MC.

Kira is just hiding from the protagonist for a while; she'll eventually face him. Nobody spends several chapters writing about a character who's only a fleeting presence.
