$data[13] is the array for the NPCs, [13][0] -> sister, [13][1] -> Mother, etc...im sure you will get there... its not as hard as working out how to play the game
Will there is grind at the moment that I do appricate is worth cheating to skip.. I do hope that long term that is not going to be the case and anyone cheating is really just cheating themselves..
If you want all the content is in the folders just go view that.
To be clear.. I have cheated in game myself.. but I do it as a last resort, if I am stuck.. or if the grind to get to the next step is just that.. And I am first to admit that at the moment there are moments of that in the game now. (big moments some might say).
So I am not going to judge anyone for cheating.. but please dont later slate the game for having limited content, if you jump the content and get to the end.. While this is still in dev.. the game is about the journey not just the destination..
Hope you are enjoying... at least
Austin.. I answered this about 4 posts up... (there more info in that reply)
Cant se itTo cheat you have to open your developer tool in browser
Go to Applications tab select:
Lifelived2 and edit the value, when done just close the tab and open again > click at load
View attachment 2935858
how to use it? I enter it into the console, but then it disappears.$data[13] is the array for the NPCs, [13][0] -> sister, [13][1] -> Mother, etc...
Yes, those are significantly more helpful. THAT tells me how much content and progress there is. It's rarely just those things, but Visual NOVELS <---key point, are quite limited in their branches and aren't usually a sandbox. Those are giving me an idea of the time that is added to the game.Really? Did you ever read those from a VN?
X renders
Y words
Z lines of code
Or from a text based games?
It's even less helpful than this one.
Without talking about the N/A. Or even nothing.
No, you need to be transparent about your progress. I'm interested in specific content, I *WAS* watching your game and debating support. I talked to you about this before in the thread. If I don't know what your progress is or have any idea if your project has enough changes to warrant re-trying it out, then its a pass. My time is valuable to me, despite me wasting it having to explain these things to you. Again.Thank you... Its nice to have someone who is getting what I am trying (and probably failing) to achieve..
I said exactly the same about the x number of words etc.. .what am I meant to do with that piece of info..
I have however taken on that I need to be a bit more informative about which quests have had extra steps (I can take that as the valid point here to work on)..
And yes, like you say.. I am not trying to be awkward about answers.. If there is genuinely a mistake in the hint and it says you need 30 corruption and infact the code is 50.. I have made that clear.. But where the hint says, go to this place in the morning.. Do I really have to say exactly what hour? I have for some of the hint moved from my original stand point and do feel I am to exact...
It is about getting the balance right.. and I am still working on that.. but it is a game and it is meant to be a challenge.. and that is not for everyone... and thats kool... but its nice to know that it is for some
Thanks again for your comments
I read your other post before this post. I hope that my previous post actually explains some points, but I'll give this game a few more updates and come back to it in the future with hopefully a fresh but more filling experience. It's not like I dislike your game, its that I have no idea if I should invest in something where I don't know if you spent a month adding 10 minutes of content vs an hour. It makes a huge impact on supporting factors. I dropped support on too many games that do an update once every 90 days just to put out 5 minutes of content. I'm beyond trying to be forgiving at this point.Firstly Sorreah can I please congratulate you on you sig.. KNovels are not games.. They can be great.. but they are not games.. I could not agree with that anymore and have thought that for years..
To answer your feedback
To be honest.. What happened is in the course of a month I had not made a decent list of what I had added, quest wise.. And when I went to write it, I was like.. oh did I add that in V0.2 or this time.. and in the end just thought.. Lets not delay the game any longer getting it out..
This game IS a learning experience for me.. And I am working to be better..
I will try to aim in the future to at least name the quests that have had extra steps / endings..
I cant see with stating that there is XXXX extra lines of dialogue and xxx new pics / vids.. As I dont really know what you can do with that piece of info.
Where there is new features to the engine.. I have in the past and will in the future state them.. (particularly if people have asked for them)
Thanks for your feedback.. Hopefully me and my little game will win you back on side some day!
I want to respond to your comments probably.. but my quick response is that each day I am putting in about 2 hours and about 4/5 on the weekend... A lot of this is not as obvious in the content as is in the engine.. but I am serious about wanting to make the game good.. and about releasing a decent amount of content..I read your other post before this post. I hope that my previous post actually explains some points, but I'll give this game a few more updates and come back to it in the future with hopefully a fresh but more filling experience. I'll come back after several updates. It's not like I dislike your project, but I still question how ambitious it is and your sustainability, especially when I have no idea how much progress is made with "I added stuff".
You're contadicting yourself here. You're saying that a VN changelog that literally says I added stuff is more helpful than this one. Be serious.Yes, those are significantly more helpful. THAT tells me how much content and progress there is. It's rarely just those things, but Visual NOVELS <---key point, are quite limited in their branches and aren't usually a sandbox. Those are giving me an idea of the time that is added to the game.
"N/A" and "Nothing" obviously doesn't count because there IS NO CHANGELOG. If it doesn't exist, how is it supposed to be "not helpful"?
This guy's game is a sandbox game with over 50+ NPCs and he said "I added stuff" essentially, with no indicator of how much, and just telling you some stuff is place holder, some starts and is a dead end and some stuff is completed.
Well, you do you. Defending VN changelog isn't any better. I didn't answer to be a fanboy but to counter your meaness and negative comments of a dev who didn't deserve that.I don't care if you want to fanboy, but for real. Its one of the least helpful changelogs I've ever seen. You trying to defend it is a joke.
Thanks mate.. I dont take the detailed negative feedback as a problem.. I want to improve and that helps.. the only feedback that is dissappointing is either when its limited like x sucks.. or that the game is not their sort of game so therefore its bad..Sorry man, but being quite honest in my analysis so far.
I believe that there are actually great goals in this game, since the number of girls is comprehensive and for all tastes.
Sissification could be an option, not an obligation, just like transgender. Nothing against it, but their obligation kind of ruins the roleplay.
The quests are completely lost when it comes to continuity, not to mention that the grind is extremely heavy. If there were dialogue options, like, nothing big or significant changes, but flirting to increase corruption, or making small talk to increase affection until you get to the point of opening the quest.
Quest requirements are very simple, causing more fatigue than fun, and to be quite frank, the division made with the assignments kind of hinders it a bit, leaving the game a bit stuck.
I hope you don't give up and take complaints as a means of improving and not giving up.
Good luck and continue your efforts.
No you are misinterpreting what he is saying. He is saying that COMPARATIVELY saying something generic for a VN is more useful than saying something generic for a sandbox game. For example:You're contadicting yourself here. You're saying that a VN changelog that literally says I added stuff is more helpful than this one. Be serious.
Here you know that the quests have been changed. Some new ones, some progressed and some finished. You just have to follow the questlog.
To cheat this game is extremely easy.Cant se it
No you are misinterpreting what he is saying. He is saying that COMPARATIVELY saying something generic for a VN is more useful than saying something generic for a sandbox game. For example:
Consider a dating sim kinetic VN that has days. Saying something like "Added 1 day for character x" is about as generic as you can get and I see devs do this for VNs all the time. As a novel it is all about the story so any more information would tread on spoiler territory. But you have a really good idea of how much content got added based on how long it took to play previous days and can easily determine if you want to play it again or wait for more updates.
Now consider a sandbox game like this. Saying something generic like "added some quests" doesn't tell you a whole lot, especially for a game like this with a massive amount of characters and affection points that have to be grinded. Were the new quests for characters you were interested in? Is there actually any porn content? How big of quests are they? Are they just fetch quests to raise affection? You have no way of determining if you want to come back and play it that update.
So his point is valid, saying something generic for a VN is a lot more useful than saying something generic for a sandbox so there is a reason why the dev should be more informative in their changelog (which they have said they will be). Not everyone is going to want to play every update regardless of how much content got added, or waste the bandwidth if they are on limited download plans that are stupidly common in the US.
P.S. Also you are the one contradicting yourself. You're statement of "You just have to follow the questlog" proves his point that the changelog is useless. The whole point of having a changelog is to see what has changed to determine if you want to download the new version. You shouldn't have to download and play the game to determine if you want to download and play the game.
you don't even have to go that far.Id be happy to take full blame here.. I have said.. when I wrote the changelog .. on friday at the end of a long day.. I wanted to get the patreon release out that day as I had promised it would be.. (and wanted the public out on saturday. so I could spend sunday dealing with the fallout lol)...
I honestly went to write which quests had had extra steps.. then realised I couldnt remember.. and i didnt want to say something was new that I had already added in the last version.. I even opened up an old version and then realised it was going to take me like an hour to work out what I had added.. So i summarised.. (i honestly didnt think then it was going to cause quite such a riot) but I have said i will do better in the future.. I will try to make a changelog as I am going throughout the month..
I cant promise its going to be super detailed.. but I will at least name quests with extra steps and possible how many steps.. and list how many new quests there are (with how many steps they have too.. and if they are compelte quests)..
I have mentioned where there has been extra areas added or extra features added to the game..
I will for instance mention on the next one that 3 multi saves are now fully functional.. (o yes that what I spent my sunday sorting out)..
So please lets all be nice to one another .. we all want the same thing?
Thanks for at least answering in a correct manner, contrary to someone else.No you are misinterpreting what he is saying. He is saying that COMPARATIVELY saying something generic for a VN is more useful than saying something generic for a sandbox game. For example:

I can't agree with that either. For me, the changelog isn't the place to explain the quests in details like you're both asking. Though we have different points of view, it's nice to be able to explain things the way you do.P.S. Also you are the one contradicting yourself. You're statement of "You just have to follow the questlog" proves his point that the changelog is useless.
