Im currently working on the next version.. I am hopeful of a release within the week.. however I want to stress the next update is going to not have any new quests or quest steps.. I have been working on a number of aspects.. I'm trying to build more locations and interactions with the npcs in the game.. plus there is one much requested feature coming also..
I was going to try put the release out this weekend.. but I want to spend a bit longer and get even more unique interactions with more npcs in it as it was feeling like quite a small update.

Quick update...
The patreon version of v0.55 is being release in the next 30mins.. As always a public version will be release some time after.
I have posted the changelog on my patreon and this is free to view for anyone. So if you are interested in seeing what is coming, its there...

Again, updating the game, my saves have gone to hell. How many times do you have to start this adventure before you consider changing the save system? Is there any way to get a save to avoid this Groundhog Day?

Tired, played, saved, restart computer, no save. Why are you the only develloper in the world who doesn't use a working file save system ?

Hi Both.. are you playing the current release on here.. or the new patreon release?
The new patreon release (will be coming to here shortly) has a new export from your browser option..
This save can later be imported again..

Regarding whatever options you have set on your browser to blank the cache after use, this will help with that..
But and I will stress this again, as it will in game and in the changelog.. the exported file should not be tampered with..
If it is altered (you can rename or move to new location) then it is likely to fail to reload..

Look forward to hearing your comment on the new feature / update..

Please please please heed the warnings about using and not altering the exported save file.
Also that this is technical update more than a content one.. see the changelog for more info about what is new

Hope you guys continue to enjoy and comment on what you like / dont like..
I do listen, I don't always agree, but where I can I am trying to take on what is asked for.

A small bug has been spotted in the new version..
the quick and easy fix is to rename a dirrectory..
instead of npcs/38/cor change it to npcs/38/corrupt
This will fix the missing pics issue for this 1 npc.. the others should all be fine

Ok Edit.... I have now got to be on the pc that I build the game and have all the files.. and so I can see the issue,..
In the code, the weekend files for this 1 npc corrupt interaction are looking for folder corrupt. while the weekday ones are looking for cor...
The solution is to rather than rename the folder but to make a second copy.. (easiest solution)
So copy the npcs/38/corrupt folder and rename the second copy of it to npcs/38/cor
Sorry about this!

I do not see anything to "Click" on the first page to get further. It might have to do with Case sensitivity? I know that Windows does not care about case but I am on a Linux box.

Hi both.. the game is Linux friendly.. I have someone who plays on linux and makes sure that all my files are case correct!!
Two reasons why you might be having a problem.. if you can see the buttons and when you press create nothing happens.. your browser is stopping the game writing to the browser cache.. this could be due to private browsing options.
If you cant see the buttons at the bottom right of the screen, try zooming the page in or out.. a few people have said this fixes that issue..
If neither of that fixes the issue, please do come back and I will see if there is anything else I can suggest.. (if it does fix it, it would be also nice to know, as can help more people in the future)

Edit... the game does not use any popups! (agreed they are dirty!)

In the case of private mode.. I have not tested how the game reacts to that.. if it allows you to play the game but not retain the save between sessions, then the new export / import save file will help with that totally..
If it stops you from creating the game session, then there is nothing I can do about that sorry.
