I will take a look at this, its probably linked to the issues I am fixing at the moment which are around the MC new phone set up..

you need to have bought the mobile phone.. if you have it.. click on the icon.. then click on the camera app.. if there is a phone that can be taken at that time, an Icon will appear on the phone.. click it and you have taken the pic.
i must be dumb but i cant find were to get a photo for the first job quest, i bought both the phone and the camera yet cant find the photo location

off the top of my head you need to go into your parents bedroom early on a weekend morning (like 6 am)

If you try to take a photo from the app while holding your smartphone up, you'll receive a message that says you can't take a photo at this time.

Ok I have just tested this.. and I you are right.. the whole phone camera is broken for like 99% of the places..
I have just fixed this in my code.. I will get a patch out either tonight or tomorrow.. with a few fixes.. this included.

I rewrote all the camera function to make it better for the last version and while it is much better now.. there was a copy and pasted error on every one of the triggers.. a ) in the wrong place!!!!
yes.. but the quest looks at your sub/dom stats at a certain point and if they are too low you end up on the sub route . if they are too high you end up in the dom route

Small patch to fix a few issues around the MC receiving text attachments and taking photos with mobile. Also updated the way 3 more quests work (but you will not really see it).. Also added a very small step to one quest(the pic is included).. its just makes the quest make a little more sense..

Does the game ever pick up the pace? I've played for a couple of hours and it feels like everything takes ages. I've done a few quests but even a simple thing like getting a job requires a ton of grinding instead of going something like "Hey, want a job? Do *genericfavor* for me and you can work here."
And that grinding is actively slowed down by the fact that you have to wait a while before you can get more stat points... Plus the interactions to get stats feel really forced, not organic at all. I don't mind games that make you work for the content, but this just feels way too tedious.
Idk, maybe I'm missing something...
What little we see of the characters and scenes is pretty good, but it's way too little considering the amount of effort needed to access that content

i would say focus on the easier quests first, also dnt stick to one. the pace slow, but its possible worst at the start, particularly if u try to do the harder quests first.Does the game ever pick up the pace? I have made the game have less of a instant grat.. like, oh hi, we never met before, but do you wanna have sex... to more of a real life feel.. each time i revisit quest i do reevaluate if the starting stats are too high.. and often tweak them a little lower

Depending on if you are playing on easy or hard.. but this is the quest help for easy
"Well, now you really are drawing a blank. Maybe you mother might have some lonely friends. Catch her over breakfast on the weekend mornings might be the best time."

For some reason, an event occurred when I went to school at 5pm on weekends.
The background was a park, so maybe this was the event that was supposed to happen?
However, even after checking the quest hints, there is no progress, so I don't really understand.

So have you collected all the photos needed? (if you have stat tracking on it will tell you).
The event in the park will not appear until you have 20 pics..
I can't remember of the top of my head, the event might be a npc event so you need to speak to the person at the location / time to see it.. it might be a location event.. so it will just appear when you are there..(if you are at the correct time).
