VN Ren'Py A Life Worth Living [Ch. 5.5 Fix Public] [FiTB_Games]

It is good and rare to find a couples swinging game that has a reasonable build up and a variety of scenes of the couple having fun together. Glad there are choices to control the routes without every choice degenerating into the wife going after everyone. Please keep this up.

Couple of questions:
- The gallery seems to be missing some scenes. "Chp 1 Zoe Midnight" for example. Any plans to add them in? Maybe as a quick patch before next major release.
- How many Chapters are planned for the game? I hope it is something reasonable and don't fall into the trap of constantly introducing new characters and artificially lengthening and losing control of the story.

The gallery scenes only show up if you have played the scene it is referring to. So if you didn't actually have the scene in your playthrough, then it will not be available in the gallery. Hope that makes sense.

We are planning on 6 chapters, so 2 more to go. Can't promise we still won't lose control of the story, but it won't be because we kept it going forever!

Just a quick update. We have been moving along well. Have 3 scenes completely rendered so far, and 9 more half way done. I tend to jump around as I have ideas or hit a wall.
We also have quite a few written already, I think at this point 12 of the scenes. We are looking at around 38 scenes for the update to this point I think. Which will change as we go I am sure.
I am pleased with the progress so far, so hopefully we can continue on this pace.

As for the gallery I am particularly referring to the scene with label "ZoeSexmidnight" and the various poker games. I made a quick mod and will share in a separate post.

Quick mod to tweak the built-in gallery:
- Added a Zoe scene and the poker games scenes. NOTE: Since these scenes were not part of the original gallery, please exit them manually.
- These added scenes are indicated by "(mod)" in the name
- Added an unlock button with option to relock any unplayed scenes.
- Changed right-click during replay to immediately bring up Exit Replay dialog box.

20240715 - Since the game now, as of Ch5 P2, has its own unlock button, changed the mod to just add the additional scenes.

Just started this game yesterday like it so far. Quick question on the introduction of the blackmail. Is the blackmailer trying to imply that Mary gave Mr Ken Norts the wrong medication on purpose. Because I doubt she would be in jail for life for a accident. While I don't really know how laws work with medicine but it seemed to me something that would fall under malpractice and most like just get sued and fired. Not sure how easily it is to get jailed for malpractice if it's proven to really be an accident but I assumed at worst a few years in jail but not life. Which probably still be reason enough for them to listen to the blackmailer in the context of the game just the whole life in prison thing threw me off for something that seemed like an accident. Which is what got me curious to ask this question.

Glad to be of help. I am sure we are stretching the law here a little as far as severity goes with a life sentence. But it is a blackmailer trying to intimidate also.

I recently finished this game and just wanted to write some quick thoughts about the game.

I'm not really into the whole swinging / sharing thing but don't mind it either. But the way you incorporated it into the story made it an enjoyable experience and I found some of the scenes hot especially with the context behind them. Which is saying something for me since I don't really care for the lewd / sex scenes much I usually plays these games for story / characters. This game kinda makes me want to look for other games with the whole hot wife concept just to see if others have a decent story to go along with it like in this one, since I feel the context and story is what made me enjoy that aspect more than anticipated. Honestly this game might be in my top 10 now after I reevaluate my list I enjoyed the story and game overall that much.

One finally thing I wanted to say before I rate this game properly later. Normally I'm not a fan of forced relationships especially if there is other LI in said games since I like to build them slowly overtime as I get to know the characters. However I must applaud you for how much of a good job you have done with Mary. I found she is a perfectly balanced character that's sweet, kind, caring, capable of being bitchy when needed along side a small hint of being a bit of slut but not to slutty at the same time. All of these traits made her to be a hot and compelling character. I loved how realistic she comes across as a character it's real refreshing to see characters that feel realistic like they are a person other than a LI.

The only negative and honestly that's a personal thing I wish Mary took a bit longer to get comfortable to do some of the things she does with her new lifestyle felt a bit fast all of a sudden at one point for me. But I understand why she got comfortable somewhat quickly after a certain point, the blackmail pushes her along as well I assume just a dev / game decision for better pacing of the game's story overall instead of stringing players along that don't like things to go too slow.

While I feel there is some better character out there in certain aspects overall I enjoyed Mary so much that she made it onto my top 5 on my LI list across all AVN's.

TLDR : Mary is an amazing character and good and enjoyable story with the themes especially if you have an open mind about things when it comes to the context of the lewd scenes.

As for how fast she got comfortable, there are a few factors there. She has found her sexual side, and wants to explore it, which is part of the reason for the quicker transition. Also, and this is more about us as devs, we don't want to drag the game on too long. We have a story to tell, and if we took too long to get it told, I think we, and the people playing, might get bored, so we did accelerate some aspects of the game for this purpose.

I would also like to thank you for making this game. As this is a game I put on a list of AVN games I plan to replay from time to time through the year. Tho I will say this game gonna be on the higher end of that list of games when I pick something to replay as I enjoyed this game maybe a bit too much haha.

It is definitely a great game. I'm not as a big a fan of Mary as you, but I do like that she remains faithful if you choose to do so. Its really nice to have the choice and still get a story line. Its refreshing and rare. There is definitely replay value for me as well. I can go down the different paths each playthrough depending on my mood, its fantastic to have clear choices, beautiful ladies and consequences to your choices.

Hey i just wanted you guys to know that in a new game I play called "Steps of Debauchery" (24) Ren'Py - Steps of Debauchery [Ep. 1.2] [Fooxied] | F95zone in there latest update in the game there is a porn channel that the wife can watch and it shows a different scene from different porn games & your game is in one of the scenes, its the orgy scene at the hotel, i just wish they would have put the games title on the screen so people would know what game that scene is from. im even a patron of that game too and i asked the dev if they could label not just your game but the other ones on that porn channel so we would know what there from, so far i havnt heard back from them yet. This is the scene in the game below
