It's when you are in a train station in the social ring with the locations like cinema, club, ... if you click on a train and select the "Trainstation - club" as target you get an error
Yep it was there.. I was trying all the train stations to find the secret in the bin and I was using the "show clickable" tool in the top corner perhaps it has something to do with that...
Sorry, I forgot to give you more context earlier

Not sure if it's an important error but Liz is the vanilla name for the little sister in the game right? (In my game they are named Selene and Stella and Selene keep calling her Liz, while when they are together her named is displayed as Stella). I'm not sure why but it doesn't seem to use the name in the options.

Selene also mentionned someone named Ina in a dialogue, I never heard of such a name before I think 1690790651055.png 1690790815456.png

If you expand the "Relations" tab at the bottom of each character you can configure how they relate to certain characters. There is configuration for how someone's nickname is for someone else.

Ina (Information-Network-Assistance) is the ai. The blueish hologram.

VN mode in the future ? sandbox is confuses me somehow
Actually it's more a VN than a sandbox game...
There are some free roam moments which, If I'm not mistaken (and please correct me if I'm wrong), only purpose are to get the secrets images
As I've been having bugs in the free roam mod, I didn't hunt for those secrets and just get to the next event each time I was in the free roam mode

I'll be honest, I dropped the game after a few mins of aimlessly clicking on rooms trying to find the correct hallway that leads to the correct chamber you are supposed to be in right from the start of the free roam things.

There are ways to implement free roam / sandbox style things and make it work and not feel like a chore and this game is not one of them. It doesnt make sense to not just continue to be a VN style other then just because the dev wants the player to click a while.

yeah at the beginning I was confused too with that, but in all honesty that was probably the worst of it. In the rest of the game there isn't any freeroam to speak of unless hunting for collectibles is your thing.

I guess you've never tried using the map function of the SD which can take you directly to any location.

I played with the idea to offer different play-modes but they won't be implemented till the end of act 1, if even so. As I like non-grind sandbox games, this is my priority game mode. There isn't much to it at the moment, but I explained a few times that there will be more sandbox elements in act 2. I implemented the framework for it before I started working on the first act. I like it and I wont hide it.
However, this and more can be read in the faq in op.

Could you zip the whole player data folder and send it to me?

I can't reproduce this behaviour yet.

You wrote bugs. Did you experience others than the one you reported?

I fixed this bug and another, but again found another one, yet unreported bug. That one is a bit more tricky to fix. So I'll have to postpone the bugfix update till tomorrow. Hopefully I have it fixed till tomorrow.

I mean, you are correct I didnt use it. You shouldnt have to use the 3rd option thats inside of two other menus to have a decent playing experience when the first two are right on the screen between clicking the doors and the "quick Nav" panel on the left side. .

yeah I got another one before the one i posted here but didn't copy the log... I was thinking it was automatically logged somewhere in the game files but after I had to quit the game (the pre bug save didn't launched it was a black screen) I tried to search the log in the game files to send it here for you but couldn't find it
This bug was different but I think it's also connected to the "show clickables" option as I was in free roam looking for those secrets... I used this option a lot and after a while there was permanently not the image but like a ghost image or a reminiscence of a clickable zone from the MC suite in which I was before...
It seems weird and when I clicked on this ghost image and the game crashed
I'll try to replicate it

From basically any screen, right click > Map > select wherever you want to go. If that's too complicated, I'm afraid that speaks more about you than the playability of the game.

I never said complicated, if you want to get pissy take it elsewhere. Its cumbersome when the 2 in your face options are garbage for navigation and you have to go to the menu every time you would want to move. Its just a bad design choice in an already questionable implementation of sandbox elements.

Excellent game so far. I've noticed two issues- the issue with crashing related to loading the train station areas mentioned a few pages back, and also an issue with the "Taboo" setting. It seems to work for the most part, but there are sections where the MC and Selene will still refer to them as "Professor/teacher and her kids." Might be worth a once-over of the script.
Outside of that, my only gripe is that the Dev has a tendency to get kind of high-level with the technical jargon. As someone who is in the tech field as well, I don't mind it per se, but I can see where it might get a bit boring to someone less technically inclined. I know the age-old expression is "write about what you know," but the ins and outs of coding don't always make for the most compelling reading in an adult VN setting.
Otherwise, the game is quite unique in its storyline, and really has me curious as to where its going to go in the future. I especially like that the dev has implemented a Von Braun-style rotating station to accomplish artificial gravity.

Why does this game has a milf tag? Any milfs in the game so far? :devilish:
For now they are only teased (visually) in a few short events. I'm not sure wehter this is sufficient for having the tag or not, this is up for mods to decide.

Thanks for the feedback.

Regarding the taboo settings, did you check to select the corresponding files in the "Language Setting" as in the "Character configuration"? They should be in sync.

Regarding the tech-talk. I try to keep it as high-level as possible and try to add even higher-level comparisons when he tries to explain it to Selene. I want to have this, for showing that Elios (MC) has a purpose in this story and is not just a random mc that wants to bang his way through town. And this talks and spending time together serves the purpose for them to have time to bond. They shouldn't jump to bed right after they met. Also it serves the immersion of passing time and they don't achieve everything miraculously within moments (Even if they still do this way faster than it usually would be, if even possible). At least these are some of my thoughts to this scenes.

I don't think it's that big of a deal... I come from a tech background though. Would be interested to see what a non tech-savvy person thinks about it.

Played this game for the first time yesterday and finished it today. I realized immediately that the story must be inspired heavily by the movie "Passengers", which I really enjoyed thematically, so it was no surprise that I got really immersed while playing.

The positives:
- Unique setting, character models and backgrounds. There are space-themed games and I have played some of them, but the assets that are being used here (very well at that) feel fresh and it makes playing more fun, because there's new shit to explore for seasoned VN-players.
- The pacing. What I mean is that the characters spend some time to get to know each other before really building a relationship. They work and play together and talk to each other before they get to the next level. Selene is conflicted and while she pretty much gave the MC a death sentence in some way with her actions, her actions make sense. Somewhat. The fact she's still lying and doing her own thing bugs me. The MC, while he started out as an annoying wimp, does redeem himself as the story progresses. He takes charge, is competent in his field and stands up for himself and Selene/Ellie. I like that.
- The renders are pretty good, the coding-stuff is fun as I'm learning how to code myself right now, although I'm still very much a beginner.
- I like the dynamic that MC and Selene have going on. It seems natural, and Stella, while not being given all that much time to talk, is also very lively. I hope that she'll soon get to join the group.

The negatives:

- The pacing. As the game has been out for a little over two years now, I wonder how these 6 females that are still sleeping in their cryo pods will ever get their moments inside the game. It plays like a harem game in the making, but if those girls are still asleep after two years and Selene already took quite a bit of ingame time and attention to 'conquer', it doesn't bode well for those characters. Stella is still a captive and mostly a non-factor, too.
- Pia. I feel that her purpose was a) to give the players sex scenes (that were super long) to tide them over and b) to give SOME background information for our MC. I skipped her sex scenes since I don't like her model and as she won't appear in the game other than in dreams or thoughts, she's very much not a real character to me.
- The sandbox. I feel that right now, it doesn't serve much purpose at all other than to find secrets, which seem to be just pictures unless I missed something.

In conclusion:

I find the game brilliant and if I had to compare it to all the other games I played, it would be a solid 8 or 8.5/10. I've put it on my watchlist and look forward to finding out how things will go!
