I bid a good day to all of you fine people on this splendid day. I don't know what any of you are talking about but I'd like to say a couple of things from my perspective.
I never thought that players would think every single girl was hot. There are multiple girls to choose from and my only goal was for you to find just one girl you thought was attractive. I always give you the option of picking and choosing who you want to be with or pursue. You can pick all of them, a couple of them, one of them, or even none of them. So, there's no problem if you only like one girl. If you pick multiple girls, you can do that, too. I've given you multiple options to choose from. And if you decide they're all dogs, fair enough.
Every girl won't be everybody's cup of tea. Especially in those old renders, which are pretty rough. Episode 1 renders were made more than three years ago when I had no idea what I was doing. Admittedly, I still have no idea what I'm doing. I'd like to think I've gotten a little better though. I plan on going back and redoing all of the early episodes with everything I've learned to polish it. Maybe it won't make any of the girls hotter but the quality of the images should be better at least. Don't worry. I won't devote any time to a remake until the game is finished. I won't go back to redo things until after the story ends, which should be around Episode 172 when Riley finally kisses you (on the cheek).
I see my joke at the end. . The only girl I care about, MC already have her. Erika.
If people are either complimenting or criticizing your game, that means people like and are invested in the thing you are doing.
People won't waste their time commenting and increasing this thread with pages if they didn't care about it.
I've stopped playing/reading vns such as the ones from ocean lab and some other devs because at some point I lost interest between so many remakes and time wasted in things that won't progress the story any bit.
Even thought I couldn't care less about Riley I understand why people after 3 years, just as you mentioned, have been upset with the lack of development with her. After 3 years and 14 episodes, the player still don't know if they should keep investing their time on her or just move on to another girl.
Honestly, what's the development that had happened between MC and Riley? It's not even about the sex part, but what does MC knows about her? He doesn't know anything about Riley other than she being someone who studied in the same high school and someone who he had a crush on.
Vanessa, at least we know stuff about her through her father and after so many conversations, we understand what she does and her goals, but what about Riley?.
As someone who loves an Asian girl, and loved the connection between MC and Erika, I couldn't be anymore happier.
Hopefully I'll see your VN finished one day and on other platforms such as steam, and I can give my thumbs up and write something decent, and people who plays this kind of game on steam can get recommendation when they look for something new to buy.
And we can all have a laugh together by then, on episode 172, when I'll be probably 80 years old. Have a good one.
