The file like i download are all broken....anyone Say nothing?
Try getting the files from a different file download. You have to extract them all into the same folder. I haven't seen mass reports of broken files, so it's hard to say what the problem is without knowing specifics.

you are the only one with that problem apparently...unless you provide more data/specs, no one will be able to help you.
and if you continue with similar posts, you will most probably end being banned/deleted for trolling/inappropriate behavior.

You won't be banned, he's talking shit.
posting repeatedly "files are broken" (when they arent) in one thread is kinda spamming, dont you think?
ofc perhaps not bannable at instant, yet at least that warning has stopped it coming for the time being.
yet if you are willing to chit-chat with him over that "problem" and to enrich the thread, do enjoy.

I just finished playing AMFA for the first time, and I really enjoyed it. It was refreshing to see a few male characters done well. Usually, in these games it is like the MC is the last man on earth, so it's a pleasant change to include a character like Billy, and a few others for some contrast and comic relief.

A few thoughts after playing.

I like Harlow, she is probably my favorite character in the game, but she seems like a contradiction. She is focused on her education, is pretty much a loner, is embarrassed in social situations, doesn't want to be noticed, but 100% of the time in her free time and at school wears very revealing tops. Obviously, people can wear whatever they like that they feel comfortable with, and more power to them, but it seems to contrast with her personality. Is this a thing these days, or is this just porn logic and I shouldn't think to much about it?

Vanessa is a great character. I chuckle whenever her scenes come up, so great job with her. I love it.

I enjoy how Erika is fleshing out as a character. Her character bored me a little at the beginning, but we are finally starting to see that there is more to her than how she comes across initially. My favorite part of these games is seeing characters written with more depth and a detailed back-story so they slowly reveal themselves to be complex and multi-faceted. Most characters in most VNs are just there for the MC, without any other life or motivation. That is the biggest problem with 80% of VNs around here, lack of complexity of the LI's, so this is great to see. To me, this is the difference between OK VN where you don't really care that much, and a VN that is truly special. I can't wait to see more.

Not sure about Riley so far. Maybe her character arc hasn't started, but she seems the least interesting character so far. Also, her supposed interest in the MC seems forced. I don't really see it, as a player.

And Kate. I just don't buy it. Her interest in the MC seems to be just thrown in there to create an older LI. Why is she interested in the MC again? From the scenes we've had so far, there is nothing to show why she would risk her career and reputation for a relationship with the MC. Mainly I haven't seen any evidence of a spark between them, other than she wants to be helpful to one of her only students. I think her character needs a little work to make her apparent attraction more convincing.

I loved the budding intimate scenes with Harper. Usually, LIs just go there right away, like with Erika and Marissa, which takes a lot of the heat out of it in my opinion, but I loved that first kiss scene with Harper in the conference room, and later their spicy scene in the MCs bedroom. Whew.

Venus Waltz, were you trying to troll the player with that scene with the fire? Along with 75% of your players, I am sure, I thought we were going to have a Acting Lessons situation, but it looks like we dodged a bullet there at the end with Harlow waking up. When I first saw it, I was gritting my teeth thinking about another Acting Lessons, especially moments after our first intimate moment with Harper. Anytime there is a fire, with an unconscious LI, most all your players are going to think of that.

One last comment, I know that the three dialog reactions are supposed to be your trademark, but if what the MC says has no impact on the story or any future dialog other than a line or two, it kind of takes away the agency of the player. In most VNs, it matters at least a little how you talk to the other characters, so making your comments just change a few lines of dialog immediately after the statement, to then be forever forgotten, takes a lot of the purpose out of having the dialog choices in the first place, at least to me.

Thanks. I don't like to go too much into details about my rationale for everything because I notice I get long-winded and monotonous. I'll just say that I do have a rationale for all of the girls and their stories. In my mind, I try to give everybody reason as to why they do the things they do. Some of it might be there now. Some of it might not have shown up yet. Everything makes sense to me but I know it won't make sense to everybody else. I have a plan. We'll see if it's any good.

I wanted to write a story that's fun. There's some drama in there. Action. Comedy. Seriousness. Romance. Straight porn. Whatever. It'll have its moments. I know it's going to be absurd. I want it to be as fun as it is deep and meaningful. I think it can be all of these things.

Episode 7 Progress Update #5

Quick update.

I don't wanna make a long-winded post because time writing a post is time away from working on it.

Here's another bullet point rundown so it's easier to read.

-Renders are finished. I had to go back and re-edit them, so I lost some time but now they're done.

-Animations are finished. Watching them in a video is sometimes different when you're viewing it in the game. I might change if it won't take too much time and if it'll actually make a difference in the enjoyment of a scene.

-I'd say I'm about halfway through writing the episode. There are a few long scenes I'm hoping to finish this weekend. Writing a long scene is always daunting because everything is connected and you have to make the scene flow. Once I do those scenes, there'll be a lot less to write.

-Coding is about halfway, too. It's tricky navigating paths. I want to make sure you're going where you want to go in terms of who you like and don't like. There's a big decision with one girl this episode and I have to check, double-check, and triple-check to make sure you get the decision you want. There are a bunch of different paths to go and I'm paranoid about it because it'll be hard to go back and fix it once it's out.

I know I said this episode should take less time than the last one but it's still bigger than I expected it to be. Another lesson learned. I'll keep improving my workflow and hopefully production for the next episode will be even better. Thanks for being patient with me as I figure things out.

I appreciate all of you sticking around and supporting me. I wouldn't be here without you. Leave a comment if you've got any feedback for me. Take care of yourselves and I'll be back soon.

there is a guide for this game?
GUIDE:
Colored choices are just for flavor and don't affect the story direction. Choose whichever response you want for whatever reaction from the LI with whom you're talking. White choices can have a more major impact, like whether or not to continue pursuing a LI or side character.

Just save when you reach a white choice. There aren't many and are pretty self explanatory. I haven't counted but honestly, I don't think there are more than 5. Other than that, just have fun with the responses.

This isn't meant to be a "how close to the update are we" post, but more general curiosity on the process. Typically, what percentage is each of these 4 categories in the process for you? I've never coded or rendered so I know nothing other than the basics of what it entails.

Rendering takes the longest time just because you have to let things render. Animations are the same deal just that there are fewer of them. You can be away from the computer longer while you're animating. Writing and coding takes a lot of time but not nearly as much as the others. I don't know about exact percentages but I'd say rendering is at least 60-65%.

Odd that you would do renders before writing. I would think you'd need a script first before knowing what renders you'd need.

I have a loosely written script for every scene written and outlined before I start rendering. I have key points, scenes, sequences, conversations, etc. that I know I need to render following an outline then make notes on where it falls in the script. Everything gets funneled down from a broad idea down to a specific line so that everything lines up. Nothing is set in stone though because I go through multiple rewrites and change things a lot.
