Go ahead and try it. I see you liked AOA academy, and this has a similar vibe. Just because the latest update included a bit of a shock doesn't mean that the whole VN is bad.

I put save names as an option because some people prefer it. If you don't want to add a name, it's just an extra button press. It's not something I ever looked into because it takes less than a second to get around, so that's the compromise I went with.
