I think the point I was making came off either a little too broad or narrow depending on how you look at it. I like consequences for decisions in games in general and I agree, harem is pretty boring and run of the mill as is NTR. When the game is a singular fetish, it gets boring. I'm talking about these tags being smaller elements of a larger game. The game Acting Lessons was a pretty good example of this. You can choose to screw around and have your fun with all the ladies, but doing so could impact later interactions and ultimately push away and lose the one you really wanted to pursue. Risk vs Reward. I like good storytelling and sometimes that involves people drifting apart, or a person of desire choosing another because the MC simply wasn't assertive enough or was too busy trying to be a poon hound instead of a loving partner.
In the context of this game, which I love more than life itself, I was only disappointed in the fact that Orb made the post about MC and Nicole being exclusive. Making that statement broke the 4th wall and now when there is any tension at all or looming risk in possibly losing Nicole, its swept away in an instant by that statement. All I'm saying is that when you're telling a story, its best to hold your cards close to your chest and keep the audience guessing on what is going to be coming next.
