and I agree with the immersive part. The only point I wish to add is that this immersion should not get to levels that it becomes unhealthy, where people get so immersed into something that they literally try to blur the line between actual life and a story. The reason why we play VNs is because we want to immerse ourselves into the story from the point of view of the story teller, not impose our stories on him/her, you know what I'm getting at.I find it amusing when people go bonkers if their characters or their LI do something that they do not personally approve of, if its only for fan service, then the anger is agreed but what if it is required for the plot?
Take this game for example, people bicker over a wife having conflicting emotions over her husband, where the husband suddenly shows "interest" in her, as an antagonist of course. She is after all a wife and a deeply conflicted one with a manipulative husband that has all the time in the world to turn our MC's lover against him.
the emotions need to be enjoyed the right way, the pain of loss, the anger, the misery is all part and parcel of that VN process, most don't want that and they only want the happy endings, its akin of having your cake and eating it too lol.
Man this is a topic that we can chat on for days lol and kid you not, it is bloody interesting, but my 2 cents is that people should be tolerant of the POV of the story teller.
I personally am no different from you all, my MC doesn't share, but there are times where I have to swallow my pride for the sake of the story.

I find it amusing that you find it amusing about people going nuts over a character. Human mind is too complex too grasp. You can't say someone having unhealthy emotions just because he/she is going bonkers. End of the day it's the writer/developer that has the remote we are just earnies but one can put the point across if he/she doesn't like certain part, extent of it can be mild to sometimes irritating but that doesn't mean their way of feeling the emotion is wrong. You take it by swallowing your pride, some by writing the shit load of para, some by just ignoring thread/patron, some spamming again and again. We are just shooting in the dark. If the same emotional feelings can achieved by two different variables with ascending order of damage then may be the one with less damaging should be preferred or else it may ruin the cause.Thank you for not judging

ETA unknown, but still under seven months since 10 dropped. It does feel like a minute but there have been recent progress updates and when new Nicole update comes out it's always been worth it.
Was like, watching people tear each other a new one(no shit ,a guy above der posted his life story here) ....and am thinking 'Nice.. esteemed enthusiasts be engaging in stimulating debate. Must mean the update is close! And then you sir, tell that the update isint remotely close....So wtf were those guys fighting for!

John is such a strange and evil character that I wouldn't be surprised to find out that he has known that MC has been fucking his wife from the beginning and that he is watching the security footage of their liasons on his phone while he forces his secretary to blow him. It also wouldn't surprise me to find out that he is a sorcerer and is responsible for Beeman banging his daughter. It also wouldn't surprise me to find out that he is secretly Satan and fathered MC long ago before his parents adopted him. All just to groom MC to inherent either his company, witches coven, or the throne of hell.

just ignore him...i don't even know what the heck he is smoking... but worry or not, he soon will get bored and left, it's like video games, tho who knew it, gonna love it and stick with it till the end, those who don't will trash it and left with nothing.

I would like to have Nicole all to myself, so that she would not think about her husband and feel guilty all the time. I would like her to finally be willing and initiate sex herself too. It irritates me a bit when she keeps refusing MC and MC have to keep convincing her.
