Orb is one of the last honest developers. The fact that he hasn't announced that something is going on means that he doesn't want to repeat himself or simply doesn't want to inform his audience about his private life, which is completely understandable. He is probably suspending payments during a period when he is not working, which is also a sign of the developer's honesty. He doesn't want you to pay for a period when he is not working.

I'm going to guess that line means it's well underway to be finished. It's like how video editing goes, you render the video to make it the final video ready to be shown.

Hello Inception. I'm doing ok, and I just finished my 1st semester in college. And I truly believe when dev Orb meant that he was still rendering, I do believe he was referring to the December release date he previously mentioned or the new part is almost done. We'll just have to wait and see for their next update.
I obviously know that February has 28 days except in leap years (which are multiples of 4, and the next leap year is 2028). When I mentioned "don't jinx it," I meant that it would cause a jinx that would prevent Orb from updating in the near/medium-term future.February 2026 is 28
Considering Orb's usual schedule for the AML previous updates, aside from the possibility of a pleasant Christmas surprise in the form of an unexpected update for that special day on the calendar, Orb typically takes around a month from the time he releases the first official final screenshot of the new part to the date the game is released.
