TBH, the fact his patreon has been silent since December and his statement about returning sometime around April but no comment or update this late in April makes me think it really leaning towards abandoned unfortunately....

Yeah, doesn't look good, sadly. This was definitely one of my favourites. Lets hope he just wants to surprise us.

Because Orb is a passionate dev. Remember they lost their father and have been dealing with stuff more important. They already said Ch12 was defo coming it just will take time and 'patience'.

I panicked for a sec when I saw the "Abandoned" tag and then I calmed down when other members said it's a rule for a game forum or thread to have this tag when there is no update.

I still believe dev Orb is still working on Part 12 of "A Mother's Love". We just need to be patient and trust him. This is my first and my favorite sex game. I have full confidence that dev Orb will return and Part 12 will come out.

Can finally someone of the ones who said there should be an update or something happening in April finally show the devs post about that?. For me it actually seems more likely there only was someone doing a bullshit post about that and now some think that was true. According the Patreon posts from OrbOrigin I've checked there never was such a date mentioned.

You compare apples with oranges.

The big diffrence to Milfy Shitty is that OrbOrigin has stopped the patreon charge a good time before he even has released the last version of this game.

No one gets hurt, no money is "wasted/gifted/whatever" while nonexistant milking gones on. So lets the fans have thier hopes, if you can life with that just move on.

It would be sad if the game bites really the dust, but I have no right to complain 'cause I'm a dirty pirate a have not spend a single cent on the game.

I still think this Dev wrote himself into a corner making John too powerful, and either couldn't come up with a realistic happy ending everyone is hoping for, or the content coming up was too dark for the lighthearted audience and cut his losses...going by the lighthearted crowd who had rainbows and fluffy bunnies for Nicole and the MC's future, I'm betting on the latter.

I don't think he wrote himself into a corner and cut all of his losses. He's just going through a rough time in his personal life and needs time to recover.
