I figured it out more or less by accident. I was clicking on the innkeeper and not the spot on the bar in front of her. I picked the creepy guy option anyway and all the other minus self respect options it was just I was clicking on the wrong spot.
I generally don't play these RPGM games with a mouse, I find using the keyboard generally bypasses the "not clicking in the exact right place" issues.

The dev just finished moving, but now their back on track. No release date yet though.

Thank you so much for the Mega link. I tried the other one and it wanted to take more than three hours to download and it kept randomly stopping. I really appreciate this, you are the hero we need.
If you've got download limits you'd probably better wait till reports come rolling in about the quality of this version. He released 6 fixes for 0.4.
