VN - Ren'Py - Completed - A New Home [v0.5] [Xcribr]

Good story. Better than most incest stories in which MC is not a horny brat wishing to impregnate all women in his life.
In this case we have stoic man with issues from his past, solid plus couse most main characters are fake.. normal guy, normal student etc. Then they get magic potion, ring, power etc to corrupt his family members.
Story of ex soldier with loads of money, his shady past and his new life with his long not seen family members. Sisters and mom. Which start to live with him after tragic death of their father and husband. Which was real prick to MC.

Generally it is a good plot with loads of potential, gameplay seem ok. Nothing too fancy, nothing glitchy. Just good. Feelings of characters.. for each other are there and are being shown but it could be shown more in depth. Like renders from their chaildhood. Photos of family memebers. MC secret life etc. It could be much better with some work added to it. It could get even this detective, thriller touch from MC's past. Like middlenight nightmeres in which we relive his past and his choices. Which will result in future development of the game and its story. He is sleeping in his bed, shuddering, turning, sweating. Reliving his past choices, missions etc. From those memories we will see future enemies and allies etc.

Dev touched surface of a story which can be deep like an ocean. Thats why I gave only 4 stars.

Loved it, good back story, MC has issues of his own instead of the usual he's the cool one and everyone else needs sexual healing from him. Like the peripheral characters too, they actually seem to have some depth and thought to them. Allows for some good interaction with the story. Great set up, looking forward to seeing the next updates.

So far this game is a 5 star the art is very good and the story seems to be very good as long as it keeps going this way it should stay a 5 star i may change review if something changes. I'm a big fan of this game so far and hope it gets finished.

Just beat the game and the ending was okay, left out Su-jin though.

I've played enough adult games to know the difference between quality and shite. @envixer, this is serious quality.
The characters are rendered well, Apart from Mom/Danni looking younger than little sis, and you get mixed up on how to spell Suz/Sus? Come on dude, it's your fecking character!
I have a feeling you are British, as you mention a few quid, and you have painless text. I really appreciate pain-free, readable text, and decent looking characters. If only you didn't give the MC a horse cock, it would be fine, and you would have avoided the foreign fuck patreon trifecta: Horse-cock, ugly stock chars & machine-translated text.

A few scene changes are jumped, but can easily be remedied with a bit more dialogue. Story is intriguing, and the rush to the intimate scenes are explained decently enough without being overly cliched. Only glaring issue so far is a bit of proof reading, but does not take away from the content much.

The following review is based off my personal experience with playing this Game/Visual Novel... I try to be as brutally honest and detailed as I can, and these are my own opinions and thoughts, from one or more play throughs... The version this review is based on is v0.5...

There are couple moments when the story goes a tiny bit too fast, but it looks very promising... This is definitely one of the over used Family Sex themed visual novel/games...

The visuals of the characters are pretty good... Some backdrops look unique and creative, while some are ones we've all seen dozens of times in other VN/Games... The erotic scenes near the end are very short...

The script is pretty good with only a small amount of spelling/grammar errors... The plot revolves around a male protagonist who was separated from his family for a while, even though he secretly looked after them... His mother and two sisters move in with him and find out he is fairly well off, money wise, and he tries to re-bond with them... Lets just say the protagonist loves his family, and wants to take care of all their needs and ensure they are protected...

His past life has many secrets, some of which will come out over time, according to the developers... The family secret is another matter, as it is pretty much revealed in it's entirety in the current content... Something that has been going on for many generations within the protagonists mothers side of the family...

Overall, so far the way the story is being told and with the decent visuals, this visual novel/game shows a lot of potential... And I can see there probably are lots of plans for plenty of forbidden erotic encounters between a majority of the characters... I do hope that the story and erotica keep some sort of balance and it doesn't just devolve into a pure porn fest, but we'll have to wait and see as it develops... The erotic encounter at the end of the current content was very short, which may be something that needs to be addressed as this thing develops further... I will definitely be checking back on this one as it progresses, as I do get a love/romance feel here and there... But hopefully it doesn't get too involved with melodrama...

A little early for a rating but I thought I'd give one anyway.
Very good start, much better than my first project. The models are great, the renders are nice and the story is interesting and different. The only advice I could give you is to keep it your own, while you'll want to listen to your patrons and make some changes as needed and ONLY as needed, don't get to the the point I was at where the game is no longer yours! I made too many changes to mine and lost interest after it wasn't the game I wanted to do anymore. Kudos this being your first project I know you'll be great at this!
