I thought the update was wonderful. If the games story is good I usually am not so horny for sex. I'm quite invested in these characters so the slow burn isn't a problem.

I mean in City Of Broken Dreamers I still haven't had sex with a single character. And in Being A DIK the only character I've had any sexual relations with was with Maya in Episode 3. So I get that some of the horn dogs in this thread are a little upset about the slow pace, but I'm quite fine it.

I personally don't mind the slow pace. I like a more romantic-type story (i.e. what the MC & Ashley are about here) but yeah there are and always will be people that want to see lewd scenes and don't care that much about what kind of story BRINGS them to those scenes.

I personally find the right girl in each game I play and I have never been let down when it comes to the story and the scenes in most if not all of the games are not out-of-place and fit in well with what's happening.

I guess I look at these games differently than most. Give me story first, with believable characters, and have well inserted scenes that make sense with the story. I don't mind the occasional slow-burn (a few right now in some games I play) but story means more and will always mean more.

I've said it here and in other threads more than enough times.

Yup. Only one. A couple of solo scenes with Ms. Elizabeth, but yes. Jade is the only one right now who does pretty much everything lewd in this game.

Bad news for you chief... Unless there's a lot more content the dev is planning on adding in the later versions, the 4-5x Jenny throws herself at the MC he pretty much shuts her down even when you're on her path.

pretty sure there's a lot of missing sexy jenny scenes in this beta version, screen often turns blank when jenny gets kinky, just when she was about to do something she then immediately says let's go, out of nowhere

Does the dev plan on doing anything to Jade other than her supposed drags to riches, prostitute to rich lady character development, can we see that part sooner because she's so dry as a character she might just be bait for horn dogs to try this game under the lure of sex scenes with Jade.



The rest of the cast have their own thing going on, even the ashley's token best friend sung ji is a lot more interesting than jade. She feels like fanservice bait at this point in the story. Like a satellite sexual partner for the sake of filler sex scenes. But I understand since this is a porn game after all, gotta have sex in it.



Ashley also feels like a satellite love interest, it feels like she has nothing going on around her apart from the fact that she's the MC's childhood friend and had feelings back in their days together.

Now if their getting back together wasn't so sweet and if I wasn't such a sucker for childhood romance ashley wouldn't even be near my favourites but as it stands I'll admit even Elizabeth and the actress is a lot more interesting than her as a character.

Replaing the game I really didn't realize that Valery looks exactly like a fusion of Jade and Rebecca till now and that both Elizabeth and Rebecca have the same haircut

Update wise this was a BIG update and took me longer than DPC's release of Ep 7 and much more thrilled than that, content wise it was enjoyable though I wonder how many more women are left to appear.

You have an entire limitless, infinite internet for that kind of stuff. I don't want to be that guy but, using games to "relieve some tension" just baffles me. People are going to do what they want to do, but I guess rather than watching real scenes play out with actual people, they use games.

I get that the whole genre of VNs is pretty much based on sex and a person's hornyness, but I personally get much more satisfaction from stories rather than the sex scenes that the stories are based on. Playing VNs and not reading why or understanding why the scenes are happening doesn't make any sense to me. I read each and every word of these games all the time no matter how many times I've played them and I've even written about 4 or 5 fanfics based on these games AND the words and the stories.

To each their own of course, but, I just don't get it.

Yeah I got the Ashley dream instead but it's one of the many things that's off-putting about this game with me. I know you "can't save everyone," but that dream sequence was pretty weird and a little disturbing. I guess if you're interested in a main girl (Ashley or Jenny) you shouldn't care too much about what happens to the others?

I agree here. If you don't tell her that you like her at the end of Chapter 1, then her existence in this game is pretty much over with. She's just "there."

But I'll never do that since she was "the one that got away" or the "lost love" but my MC is completely devoted to Ashley despite how I personally find Aurora & Rebecca incredibly attractive. I just hope things play out without too much BS from the Richards family in general. I know the party is/was a huge part of where this game is going and the fallout from it, just keep Adam (and Jenny) away from my MC and Ashley's relationship.

As someone that prioritizes lewds I would also agree with this. Part of the appeal of VNs, in my opinion, is that you have a balance of lewd content with a decent story as it's anchor. Like you touched on, the tie-in of the narrative to accentuate the suggestive content is where I find the most satisfaction.

Games that swing in either direction to an extreme lack any value in my mind. I can just watch actual porn if I want to see a mindless fuckfest and I can just pick up an actual book written by professional authors with a bulletproof narrative if I want to read a good story. I don't enjoy fuckfest games and I also don't enjoy slow burns.

Games that find a balance between the two will always hold a special place for me.

I didn't want to speak on this but after playing the beta release this was bothering me as well. Excluding Ashley and maybe Sung Ji the other LIs are dealing with so many mental health issues from their past that feeling any sort of attraction to them feels... wrong.

These women need a hug, not a penis. I have no idea how you can turn the narrative around at this point when the LIs need a team of psychiatrists rather than one ex-farmer.
