She is the last model i needed to create but she is also most difficult to model to replicate, so that's why she is currently being discussed.

Why was the game abandoned? What happened to the developer?
Dev was doing an adult game in secret, his wife found out and threaten him with divorce and full custody of their children. He had no other choice but to stop working on it.

Jokes aside, nobody knows. Dev abandoned the game when chapter 6 was near its release, erasing his Patreon page, which left no way to contact him. The game got into Steam in 2022-2023, TLG reappeared to warn about that Steam release not being his, and he disappeared once more.

Some fans have theorized that there were two devs working on AOA Academy, they had a fallout and stopped working on their adult game. However, the truth is that nobody really knows and we will probably never get a clear answer.

The fact the game made it onto Steam and has stayed there despite multiple people attempting to tell Valve that it's pirated suggests that whoever uploaded it there has managed to convince Valve that they have sufficient claim to the game to do so.

It's possible that it's all a weird psy-op by the original developer to try to avoid being pursued for Chapter 6 but it seems more likely that there are (at least) two people involved - one faction with control over the Patreon and the F95 account, and one with a convincing claim to publication rights and the Steam account, but not the ability to continue the game from whatever state Chapter 6 had achieved (nor redo Chapter 6 from scratch).
