But what are you saying, in reality many young models, as well as a portion of young women who are not even 25 or close to anna's age, are either engaged to older adults, are in a relationship or are engaged. That's why we have this" A Perfect Marriage" because in real life no poor old molester dude can hit a young rich stunning woman tbh.
Stop posting this pic bro!! It gives me trauma every fuckin time!!
Now I am not suggesting that Anna in real life would let this particular old guy touch her, but you are correct in pointing out that many young women are attracted to older, sometimes much older men. This is more prevalent in cultures outside the US. They don’t even have to be super rich, just stable and not a young fucktard. That is a medical term. In the US, however, youth dominates and you see more of the Bill Belechek situation where no sane woman would touch him unless he has a ton of money. But what are you saying, in reality many young models, as well as a portion of young women who are not even 25 or close to anna's age, are either engaged to older adults, are in a relationship or are engaged.
Problem is that the emotion they gone through isn't actually loveNo one loves harder than a crazy person.
It was her love for his bank account that brought them closer together. She probably already planned for him to go to the eternal hunting land and leave everything to her. But he doesn't want to go there at all.True. The fossils need to be rich themselves. View attachment 4728045

I agree that there needs to be some consistency and coherence, otherwise the story itself wouldn't make sense (more consistency in the characters and "realism" translates to more immersive). I questioned the guy in the post not because I think he's wrong, but because I think he's only seeing things from his point of view. I think it's also necessary to separate things. "Realism" in a VN isn't the same as wanting a VN whose story can be transferred to real life. I think where I disagree with him is on that part of wanting to reflect the story in real life, because the story of a VN is artificially created, so you're inevitably going to run into plot holes or situations that feel plastic (no matter how realistic it may seem, it's simply not real).EDIT: It won't quote the post I'm replying to but it's MZY321's post above

I wouldn't call them losers or wrong for wanting to see Marvin do whatever. I'm down for whatever in a VN but I will agree on the notion that the universal "it's just a porn game" people are wrong.
A story has to have some level of consistency FROM THE WRITER.
If a story is wacky and nonsensical from the jump? Do whatever. Porn logic is in control.
If a story tries to represent itself as realistic (as much as one can be in a porn story), don't then forgive the writer's fuckups, inconsistency and/or bad writingas "it was always just a porn story".
No, it wasn't. This VN has presented itself as being a bit more grounded than others. Therefore we should expect that to continue.
A story like AWAM claims to be the height and highlight of realism and then the characters act like bipolar aliens.
If the characters in APM begin to act counter to how they were presented, I'll call it out and bail. However, nothing with Marvin seems to go against what was initially presented. It's consistent. If you don't like age stuff, don't play it.
My concern is that the dev will pull an AWAM and start to "level-up" all the men consistently even after where she has gone with one of them in particular (Chris). That would be a bad move. However, that doesn't mean things can't happen with others and Marvin is another major character. This was shown early on.
lol at the end.I agree that there needs to be some consistency and coherence, otherwise the story itself wouldn't make sense (more consistency in the characters and "realism" translates to more immersive). I also think there are different types of people, and there are many who don't care much about consistency if it means that development takes longer than they want (and there are many who play and like certain characters just because of things like the taboo nature of that character). That will inevitably translate into dissatisfaction with the developers if they take too long to corrupt the main character. I think that's what happened with AWAM, at first, it was more consistent, and Sophia's corruption happened gradually. But now there's a lot of dissatisfaction, and things seem to happen suddenly and hastily, which makes it feel artificial. (You also have to consider that L&P's story has progressed very little in many years. I think they didn't manage their time well, and now it's reflected in the game.)
Summary: I think it's always important to have consistency in a story and its characters; that makes the story feel more real. But it's absurd to imagine the stories in a VN translated into real life because they simply aren't real. Also, as I mentioned before, not everyone thinks the same, and some may feel that certain characters make sense and feel real, while others may think that's not the case.
Finally: I don't plan on posting anything else here for a long time. I've written so much in my last three posts that I don't even know what the hell I wrote anymore. Enjoy the game and its characters, and if you don't like a character, just avoid it. (What a mountain of crap I just wrote. If you made it this far, congratulations; you have a very strong stomach... If you're reading this fuck off)
