That's just how I see it too. The one constant with Janet/Kendra is that she loves David. Off her meds and without treatment, it's an obsessive and out of control infatuation, but what would their relationship be like if she does get the help she needs with David's support? They've never given that a try. Maybe it's a long shot or an impossible dream, but I still want to see them give it a shot.
I could totally imagine Kendra accepting Sophie as her own too if Anna runs off, but maybe Sophie will end up with two sets of parents who adore her: Kendra and David as well as Anna and Jake (or ???). Let's just keep Marvin the hell away from her, though. It's true he does have cleaning/maintenance skills he could pass on, but I think Jake will have that area covered after Anna fully domesticates him.
I feel like Kendra will hold off on the final blow as long as Marvin can still possibly be useful with the Anna project in some way, but once he's outlived his usefulness the guillotine will fall quickly and one less predator will be around to skeeve on our heroine.
Rafi is going to be torn between trying to please Daddy Hank and Mommy Anna. So far his new father figure seems to be winning the war of influence, but that could change. It would be interesting to see Anna figure out a scheme ahead of time for once and maybe turn her intern into a double agent who can report back to her on what the Tank is up to. Anna can't match Hank when it comes to sheer financial resources, but she definitely does have assets of her own to draw on.
That's very well said. Kendra seems to feel everything more intensely than other people. It may be related to her illness, but I think she also has a passionate nature and simply cares more about things than a lot of the lost souls in the game. Anna has moments of genuine emotion, too, but she often comes across as scattered and unfocused, drifting from one thought or feeling to another. It's harder to say what she genuinely cares about the most apart from Sophie.
I don't mean to suggest Anna would go into full dominatrix mode (though I bet there's fan art for that scenario), but more like Jake the Snake would gradually turn into Jake the Simp and make Anna the center of his world. You pointed out his knight in shining armor quality so he's already part of the way there. I just think it would be interesting to see the master seducer become seduced himself. He has this playbook and routine he follows that he's used with countless women. What would happen if the tables were to turn and Anna manages to thoroughly get in his head? Maybe he'll end up liking her more than she likes him and he'll have to go to great lengths to keep her attention.
Jake has his strong points, but he still will have to compete for Anna. Renaldo has him beat in terms of dancing ability, Rafi is more innocent, Hank is more wily, and Marvin is infinitely more creepy. Let the scramble begin!
I'm also curious about Jake's relationship with Elizabeth. Does she know about his cheating? If not, will she dump him or forgive him when/if she finds out? She might possibly even end up being an option for David in chapter 3. Knowing Jake's tastes, she's probably quite beautiful. I often enjoy stories where two jilted partners are able to find and comfort each other.
And at the very least it's a little sick in her case.

with help it wouldn't be such a quick change in her case because Kendra is mentally fucked up but she would try everything to show David that she can change this time. But of course if he doesn't find out that she was the one who screwed up her marriage, otherwise things would be the complete opposite. It really might be a long shot and pretty ugly it might not even have happy endings with her but it wouldn't hurt to try.
TBM even because she hates Anna I don't believe she would put the same hate on a poor innocent child because of her parents like it can happen right there are many sick people in the real world who do that. So I wouldn't rule out the possibility of that happening but deep down I don't think Kendra would do that even though she was mentally fucked and out of control I think there was a little bit of sanity left in her head at least to recognize that a child has nothing to do with her vendettas it could even happen a miracle of Sophie changing her like children have positive energies they can help in the recovery of someone who has lost a good part of her humanity she at the very least would be the mutual salvation of David and Kendra in a possible happy ending.
With jake and Anna it would be almost the same thing sir snake would change too Hahahaha Fuck Marvin I would introduce him to Anna's mom if she isn't what I want so much! yes we cannot forget he will be important in all this and he is very experienced in almost everything but the serpent lord is there to solve it if necessary. In mine I'm going to let Jake-snake be the natural predator it has to be there when I'm done.. I'll go into taming that snake in the next playthrough just to see how it goes

i would say a passionate+broken nature that can still be fixed in the end. It makes sense that she cares a lot more than most others even more than the protagonists themselves Anna can be quite genuine when she wants to be when it comes to little daughter Sophie she cares about her family and work because of her late father but that's just it with Kendra it's more different..
well we can see this happening in many arts but I don't know if it will be the same in the game. But it got me intrigued like a Jake the Simp would be so fucking cool with him doing everything in his power for his new big love already the car would take a big kick in the exhaust Anna would be his big focus after that. Yes, I don't know what many think about it but in my opinion he is a knight in shining armor after all because until now Jake-snake was the only one who felt sorry for her. Elizabeth may be a fabrication but if she really is his girlfriend I expect some twists in this story since Jake will be with Anna I don't see why David can't do the same if she goes to him for future revenge and does the same both can help each other I doubt she knows about cheating only if she's that typical woman who doesn't mind sharing her man even if it's for financial reasons we don't know much about this Elizabeth we know the basics between Ela and Jake but we can be surprised at some point if in case she is inside it all secretly away from the cameras at the moment
even though we know from Jake himself that she's out of all his shit, we don't know for sure about Dev himself pulling a prank like it was with Alexia back in the beginning.
