Quantity of cheating wife game is way lesser than normal lesbian, straight or romantic games ....so it's not that..like if you see the list of latest updated games....cheating tag might be in 2/3 games out of 20-30 games per page.
And don't demand originality...it's kinda worst option to demand for originality.. you know the game update once in 3/4 months and we get to see like 4 updates in 1 year...it's not a tv drama series that next episode came out every week ...Few developers who run for originality becomes unplayable no matter cheating or romantic....i mean way tooo slower and way toooo boring..yes a background is required but a person can do his graduation, post graduation and find a job, get married and have a kids and still he will not find sex or anything exciting in the game if it run on originality basis. Originality fans need like 600 pages of books kind of dialogue before sex explaining characters and all. Even if a character take a shit, originality fan need to know like whats going on in the MC's mind while they are in toilet. It's literally worse way to make any VN boring lol.....And when originality mixed with slow corruption then awam and amnesia is formed. The whole point of story and sex is gone.
I think it's more of a competition to collect fanbase and bringing other developers fans down...You will see few fans or supporters of one game always criticize other games no matter if the game they are supporting is completely shit lol..so I think it's lack of story plus sexual content offcourse...and alot of lesbian....TBH lesbian and all fantasies only looks good to artists , not to gamers. If a VN continuously keep teasing with lesbians scenes for more than 3/4 updates, no matter how good an artist is, that will bring that VN down. Second, I think the developer only aim to build 1 sex scene per update or 1 main sexual scene....Idk it becomes a trend maybe because of popular and settled games are doing it same way that's why...but I think there should be 2/3 scenes ..so yea lack of sex scene....no one read the whole story just to see 1 scene...if you have something important to cover in the story text wise and you know audience will skip that part...make it kinda spicy and tease with options in between that will keep them involved....but the developer miss those things and rush it in a kinetic way. To me it's just lack of sex, competing with other developers and showing other games down to get more fan followings, leaking the update, and SLOW corruption is the main cause...i think audience think slow corruption means AWAM like stage wise corruption first update boob show, second update HJ , then BJ etc..where the story remain still and developer keep creating hypothetical scenarios just to show those stage wise tease unrelated to the story..To me it's a waste of time and render for gamers too to download and play those updates...slow corruption should not mean developing more baseless storyless tease as main scene per update..it will take 2 years just to reach sex with 1 character of that VN. and it will become more boring.. but again it's just fans and marketing people of one game who demand slow corruption that way from other VN too, so that other game story might not go ahead and become more exciting for audience. That's why all slow corruption VN are going in same pace. They lose the story and they don't know how to end the story. They just know they have to show HJ after boobshow, they don't know with whom or how and what will happen later on after HJ ..they just try to fit the character somehow even if it's not required for the main theme just to fulfil some random fantasy unrelated to the story.
