He is right though. Simply writing a story where everything's set in stone is way, way easier than to write how things go if char X says "Yes" or "No" while not breaking the character.It does happen...retaliation. MP did replied to that too. We will see...what is the new scoring structure and all.

Sometimes writers simply cheat with "well, no? Then she simply says "I'm out" and the scene ends. Have fun, boys". But if it's if you say "yes" you get 1 page of text and if you say "no" - it's different one. Not even talking of writing long term consequences.
Saying "no fking deadlines until I'm 90% near completion" is the right way to go, imo.
