Actually in the beginning Anna kept faithful because it was expected of her (society, social norms etc.). Now... though it's not made a point in the game itself, it might have been Anna's firewall against herself. Part of being a married woman was in some small part, but it is possible that is the image she needed to hold onto of being a respectable woman. We all live our lives partly or mostly in the fiction of we ourselves create and hide a lot of our real selves from the rest of the world.

I think Anna is now far beyond pragmatism and now in the realm of using pragmatism as just one more of her excuses. And yes Anna was more in love with being married than David.
