Yeah, slow progress doesn't help, paths or characters getting forgotten or lack of development doesn't help, when a update only focuses on like one character at a time, continuously neglecting the faithful path and other characters on cheating path.

Another problem is some questionable story decisions, Anna hates blowjobs, but on cheat path, she is just randomly ok to give one to Chris, why???, just so she can get some info on whether David cheated. So you are not only gonna cheat, but also do something you don't like and don't do for your husband out of nowhere, no buildup to that specific act. Should of been another sexual act, with more hesitation.

It just feels like the slow progression, paths not getting content, and some story decisions puts a bit of a damper on this game.

For that BJ path, he explained it with Ana revengeful thought. So on cheating path , Ana not only want divorce and sleep with others but she also wants to revenge on David of what he did to her....that's how Chris played with Ana's mind to paint a scenario of Alexia giving bj to David even though from Ana's POV, she doesn't like to give bj. I don't know how does BJ act classify as revenge from Ana's POV but that's what MP said.

On reality take it simple, like Sex is highest part of corrupt route that any game want to show and MP wants to reach to that part after showing all other tease fest acts because that's how the theory of slow corruption goes.....like if a wife feel horny and wants to be satisfied, she will go and give handjob to others and come back unsatisfied leaving them horny for the next update...even if it sound stupid but thanks to few milkers ideology , it has been developed that way...the scene and story are developed that way..So MP will defend these tease acts with these kinds of reasoning.

damn hopefully we'll get some teasing scenes in the office even though I'm not a fan of old farts nd I'm sick tired of Marvin design found everywhere in Vns but last scene in bar with jake kendra and Marvin was kinda good.. Hope she gets fingered a bit and such a shame Marvin has a smoll pepe damn but i hope that Kendra's part in dialogue makes the update more lewd and intriguing to play ..

I realize rendering art takes a good chunk of time, but ... how is there so much time in between updates when they're literally just taking the story from "How to Ruin a Perfect Marriage", a novel that was published almost 10 years ago, and throwing it into Renpy?

That would be a great question it’s also the same problem with Bastian’s Family where the dev is putin’ a story already made into Renpy so far he didn’t Even change anything from the original one and still givin’ 10mn update after almost 1 year inactive at least Mr Palmer did change somethings and put it into multiple paths.

The way he give reasons suggest same. And it's fine he said that he want to develop on his own time whenever he get it then let it be...No need to create hype about the game. I can only say that don't go by his word, I don't think that he will be able to provide update in the timeline that he defined on his patreon whether it's short / normal. Let him finish the update on his own time as I don't think that there much to see story wise too, until he complete working on tease fest in various path. Once that fest will be over, then the story will move forward, till that time he's just focus on reasoning of Ana corruption buildup on different path during normal day and less about main storyline where we will see how Kendra will get caught/ how alexia will be found/ David financial stability storyline...all those things will come later on once Ana will be corrupted. I just hope he doesn't convert it in one character path per update in future like AWAM...Right now he's corrupting lil bit in other paths too like spanking or groping or kiss scene while keeping main scene too...I just hope he doesnt shift whole update based on one character storyline per udpate...interesting facts...Awam is trying to cover other storyline including the one with main scene and MP is becoming more like AWAM by excluding more n more antagonist storyline per update.
