I havent read chris and david conversation whether it's same for both faithful and corruption route...but if it's same then David is beta male for allowing Chris to talk about his wife like that..and to be honest MP has to show him that way...that's the nature of a guy whose wife cheat with others...So Chris will take the lead anyways...and if it'll be a hot tub then david wont focus on what's going inside water....he'll show him stupid as usual.

SI guess MP bought new prop Hot tub that's why all of a sudden this hot tub conversation comes along in the recent update. I haven't read both paths, either, and I agree with your assessment of David. David's lack of boundaries with Chris will embolden Chris to continue to push things further with Anna.

Sadly, David has to make beta decisions or the game's point system penalizes him for it. If he shows concern that Anna is sexualizing her work clothing, is showing too much attention to other men *while she acknowledges her marriage is in crisis*, drinking to excess, when he insists upon his visitation rights, etc... ...she will attack him as controlling and the game will penalize him with submissive or indecisive points, will make Anna angry (influencing future decisions), etc.

I like the way the game construct is built (what you decide really does influence what happens later) but I disagree with the weighting of some of the decisions. It's almost as if Anna will insist upon a beta husband while she searches outside her marriage for alpha men thinking, "if only my husband were like that" when she would attack him for displaying such traits himself.

Anna needs to grow up and David needs to grow a spine. There are no "good" characters in this story.

At some point after he clears his name, David may need to think about whether or not he wants to remain with this kind of woman as a life partner... ...the two of them appear to want very different things out of life. And Sophie? Unless Anna changes, that poor kid won't have a decent chance at life with such a mother.

I've defended the dev a lot while sometimes pointing out things they need to improve. Not a blind hater by any means (this VN has been in my top 3 for a while).

That said, parts A & B of this update were awful and a sign that thing may be coming off the rails.
It's been debated and argued forever and I've written dissertations in this thread but there can be a place to exist between "porn logic" and "total realism". That area exists. This VN lived pretty safely in that space for it's early development but lately has become pretty nonsense, typical porn logic idiocy in the writing department.

I said back at the time and still maintain that the shower scene with Chris was a pivot point, a fulcrum in storytelling where the dev had to play it out from there in a somewhat believable way (as much as it had been, not asking for total realism) OR turn into typical porn logic candy for the masses. Why? You cannot jump to that act and maintain status quo. Then this was affirmed with the BJ in the garage scene. It again brought things to a place - even with just Chris - where you have to maintain that groove or become nonsensical...and the dev seems to have chosen nonsensical.

The dev rushed that day and those moments (both shower and BJ happens in the same day) or the dev fucked up the pace from that day/moment of story onward. Maybe both.

I don't think it was rushed as much as it's been fucked up since then. Becoming more and more AWAM bipolar idiocy by the MC with each update.

The thing is the story is becoming more predictable like AWAM...we know it will end with blueballs, main story wise it doesn't move forward. And side storyline is going on to grow corruption. That's why it's getting boring.

Take Tuesday to Friday storyline so far...Does the main story move forward? Nope..Did Kendra collect evidence of Ana cheating nope. Can we see David plan to catch Kendra? Or how is he going to work on it by contacting anyone? Nope.

Every antagonist is planning their own side storyline with Anna. Leonard planning to get panties and nude in exchange of info, Rob planning to massage, Chris planning to fuck Ana when David will be out, Jake is waiting for Kendra sign and Kendra is setting up everyone to collect evidence on Ana's cheating, Hank is planning to fuck Ana by putting workload on her, Grant is planning to sign contract to have sex, Marcel is planning to fuck her at gym whenever she will join..So all these side storyline is going on.....Few will get her to sex, few will not..but more or less it's becoming predictable because he insisted to keep it as a tease fest rather than moving the main story forward or letting things happen as per whoever comes in her way of main storyline.

But no progress in main storyline for this week. We don't see what's Ana's plan after separation in corruption route..fine she wants sophia custody, but what after that? Kendra's plan we see once in a while when office guys are involved..it will remain same until Ana will get fucked...next week probably then how kendra will proceed to tell David and what will be his reaction will take 2/3 updates. What David has done to prove his innocence this week? Nothing. So until Ana get laid, and David investigate via someone. Main story is stuck. It will remain same pattern... Kendra put someone after Anna, they will get tease, all naughty talks and groping/some kinda orgasm scene and they will comeback with nothing or somehow the scene will be interrupted by Ana's consciousness or David's interruption...it's just similar kind of tease scene, similar dialouges with different scenarios and different antagonist..to be continued in the next update.

That's the dumb question to ask anyone even to the game producer ....when the game is released with the tag of cheating.. If the whole game is about NTR, why to ask? Producer wants to release a cheating wife game. Period. If you don't like this genre, then don't play.

Yeah, honestly it might be time to move on. If the dev can't even give a extra choice to think of David in those two situations, how much does he really care about faithful path in general. Like it would take nothing to add him. But with this, it just shows lack of care from Anna, not even considering her husband and lack of care from the dev writing this and just continuing to forget the faithful path exists.

If the dev can't be botherd to add the small stuff, what makes us think he would care to give time or love to the big stuff when it comes time. I'm glad that my favorite squirrels team got more of Anna's "goodies". In my eyes, scenes with them are the hottest by far.
Anyway, there are two things you can say for sure about Mr. Palmer:

First, his storytelling is great and slow (but now getting pretty fast); corruption is on point. Due to that, the dessert tastes much better.

Another thing is... his working tempo is absolutely dreadful, and waiting so much time for that litte of content is disgraceful.
Milking... it is all about milking stage.

There is one Dev though who really impressed me with his work ethic (quality, tempo, great branching story - all combined) but unfortunately Mr Palmer is waaay behind that guy.

Anyway, I cannot wait another year to see this great story developed further.
