I kind of enjoy the plot being driven by the ex-girlfriend's manipulative skulduggery. It adds an interesting Hitchcockian/noir-ish element.

But I do agree the game could be better if some of the male pursuers were less gross. Really only Jake the co-worker seems like a "realistic" path. Chris would be a better character if he were dialed down about 15-20 percent. The boss, the janitor, the father's business partner -- I find those paths less interesting.
