It's clear Anna "knows" David has cheated(sic) but holds out some hope David is guiltless. Still, I've always thought Anna was more invested in being married and the concept of marriage then being invested in David. As a side note, unrelated I've always held one can be married without the legal papers that says you are married and, legally married but not be married in spirit.
The feeling of revenge she felt for David's betrayal and Keandra's malicious encouragement bring out a dark side that is already in her nature. Excellent in my view that you are taking Mr. Palmer's outline of Anna's character and it's not others corrupting her but she herself is otherwise corrupted and flawed. It's a huge difference when you are discussing a character's motivation.
This situation unexpectedly creates a chance for the old fish who is normally way out of her league. And the old pervert who had been dying for such an opportunity all his life, uses some of his congenital physical and hormonal abnormalities to gives the hot lawyer experience physical and mental pleasures beyond her belief. How much of a plot problem might that be? Everyone knows that Chris and Jake make the most sense and is the most logical paths. I've always held there has to be a darker more insidious reasons with any old fossil would have a possibility with her. It's easy to see how Hank has a path toward Anna (being a boss, influencer to her future, a threat to her financial situation), but and I can be wrong, Mr. Palmer isn't going to go down that route by itself. So, that said would it be more a hidden kink in Anna's fantasies to be used and exploited like some bondage play?

I like your theories because they follow classic Daddy Issues problems. Perhaps not the mythical "daddy issues" most think of, especially when it comes to sexual interests.

In the game we get a taste of what Anna and her father's hangup was. But if we think of Anna growing up stemming from what we know, Anna's issues come from emotional neglect. Anna strove for any warm emotional connects with her father, but suspect those moments were too few and far in between. To get her father's admiration and attention, she worked to succeed to get those warm responses from her father. But it sounds like he would give her so much and kept pushing her to do more.

You're bound to get a whole kitchen sink of phycological quirks. Resentment on Anna's part for not having her achievements not fully recognized. Rebellion from Anna when she has to sacrifice too much to get what positive attention gets, and from her father's harsh rules. The need for a loving connection with her father. And then there is that desire for attention Anna would want for her success and to be praised.

Something I've noticed in the last update was a lot of second guessing on Anna's part for deciding to marry David using her father's appraisal of David. It's possible it's one more "excuse" Anna is using to move herself forward and justifying some of her current actions. "Daddy was right," is a lot of Anna's thinking. Maybe am reading too much into it, but it seems she is realizing why it was she chose David because he was so unlike her father, but now like her father David is making demands of her, even though she being an adult can make her own decisions.

We are already getting Anna doing compare and contrast of the males around her verses David. And it's looking on Anna's score card David is falling behind... just saying. I wish the next release was already out to see if all this tracks. But I suspect and am likely wrong, but I think we are going to get too much Marvin and not enough of Anna soul searching.
