I don’t understand why everyone immediately runs to compare any project that is subject of "time criticism" with the LP project!
I'll get off topic right away, i was permanently banned in the AWAM thread for criticizing the project in a time frame of 7+ years! So I'm not defending it and my next words are just facts!
LP can be hated for many things, but no matter how strange it may sound, his game has sex scenes with Sophia, yes, flashbacks, yes, sex with her husband, there are also we didn’t see Sophia naked at the start, but we’ve seen her not only naked many times already, i agree that it took a lot of time to develop, but with each update she’s getting closer to the goal, yes, i’m also fed up with this teasing, but LP is constantly working on the project, improving the visuals (the only thing i don't understand is why he uses AI on faces), studies animation, i liked the old animations better, but he refused the services of an animator and started studying it himself. LP has a progress counter in percentage, gives a lot of teasers (although i am against spoilers and such a large number of teasers), he does a lot of work!
MP just codes and writes text!
He doesn't try to improve the game visually, he just goes forward along the beaten path like a snail!
I understand personal matters, family, etc., but let's be honest - when you came here, are you interested in someone's personal matters or did you come here to get distracted?
I don't care what anyone's business is, what matters to me is the result - which doesn't exist! It was already written above that the sidewalk with personal matters could be understood a couple of times, but now it has become a habit!
MP is not organized!
If he had devoted at least an hour of his time five days a week, progress would have been faster! Look, he doesn't even come here! Before, at least he wrote something here...
His project has long lost interest in my eyes, i don’t expect it, when it comes out i’ll play it and maybe not right away, and considering what stage the story is at, this update won’t be a "fireworks"!

And one more thing, as i said above - no one forced him to say that he would release this update faster and that he would no longer delay the release of updates like that 5-6 months, but we are approaching this mark again!

This project started out very promisingly, but then rolled into the middle segment of long-term construction projects.

L&P's AWAM was really good... seriously DAMN GOOD. Art, story, plot, characters all of it was good. Yes like most games it had its plausibility issues, and some disappoints here and there. However, did you notice the word "was"?

Mr. Palmer's AMP is as good as AWAM early series. Great female MC, Anna, as AWAM's Sophia... good storyline... wonderful art... a functional plot... etc...

AWAM is a cautionary tale of what could go wrong and has. Any other VN creators should use it as a teachable moment. All AWAM needs to do is introduce space aliens
