I defended him before but if this is true he may be going the way of scammers like L&P. If true and if he is, I'm out on this VN.

Likely and I won't write another dissertation on the topic but if this dev fucks their pace up to pull a AWAM/L&P I'd sooner stop reading this VN.
Forgetting the time between releases for a sec, the pacing of this plot so far wouldn't make sense for them to suddenly start milking and doing the "each of the 12 men proceeds at the same pace" BS. It wouldn't be realistic or what this story has been so far. It would be like a totally different story and for the worse.
Then we have to account for the development time, too. JOHN is an example of a story that has decent pacing but each update takes so long that when she eventually fucked it was very anticlimactic.
So pulling an AWAM and having slow updates as well as a slow pace of story is a recipe for nobody giving a shit anymore.

Another with a less-than-ideal dev cycle that I'd throw in there is Heartt Problems. As a VN is very good but it's another dev that is sketchy. He could be dead, busy or lazy. The last time he took a long time I checked on it only for the latest update to drop as I was typing about it.
If that VN had regular updates it would be near the very top for me.
