I know you wrote the original story and have some contact with Palmer but you might want to learn how to count. How long did the last update take? November 8 last year to May 5 this year = 6 months! Thats why he said he doesn't want to wait 6 months again for the next update... I don't know where you live but where I live, you'd be called an idiot.

You are misleading people a little saying May 18. That was the public release date. It was released on May 5. Leaked here basically the same day. You can make all kinds of excuses for the dev but at least get the dates right before making arguments. The next update will likely release towards the end of September. Either way like I and others have said, 5-6 months is not good, especially for what he calls small updates... when we know how he used to be much quicker before.

It was supposed to be short update...Thursday and Friday storyline. 4 months is normal time period for normal update which usually get delayed due to many reasons and takes nearly 4.5-5 months mostly.

Now you can see that renders wise the artist already started working on the next update when he released the last sneak peek few weeks ago. Only programming part was left purely MP side work. He usually do programming within 2 weeks for normal updates with some extra addition like change in stats/ adding gallery pages/ adding character description page etc...this time it's delayed without any reason or holidays or breaks or work or he might have gone lazy with time for this "short update".

Now if he is taking around 4 months for a short update without any interruption in his work ...Then we can expect for upcoming normal updates (Weekend storyline), he might take around 6 months easily or more.
