The developer has said more than once that he has a main job and created the game mostly on his own.
He's been completely transparent about this the whole time.
I think he's done a good job considering that.
Some of us here venting our frustration isn't going to help.
Why not write to him on Patreon instead of whining here for free?
Find something else to do besides jerking off all day. Then the time between updates will pass more quickly. Besides, there are plenty of other games here that you can check out in the meantime.

A Perfect marriage is an awesome game and can't wait till the next update.
AWAM is such a bad game, the protagonist is like a carrot on a stick and the effort isn't their anymore, so it's game night and that gives you no option but to be good wife, in the very beginning she was in a cheer leader outfit and the neighbor was trying to crack on to her and now it was super lame garbage, the spaghetti looked disgusting.
I played a new game yesterday and it's awesome.

MP was, is and never will be transparent. He change his plans in between the updates and he lies. He never stick to his own words ever same like LP. Just giving you one recent example, he launched update and said 7.5b will be out in next 3-4 weeks that's his word. And after couple of weeks, he changed to I am working on it and will pause subscription giving a hint of delay even when he has all the renders of 7.5b. Forget all previous stuffs he said about he like to finish this project in 4/5 years and wanna start new project by including more fantasies. I don't think this will finish in 6-7 years. He just gives Lollipop and people believe him.

It’s also the best game I’ve ever played, mainly because of Anna. I wouldn’t mind if it took ten or even twenty years to be completed — I don’t care. What I enjoy the most are the teasing moments, so I’m in no hurry for the sex scenes. People complain about the time between updates, but Game of Thrones took over eight years to finish, and we only got one season per year — yet the experience was amazing. So why the rush? Let Mr. Palmer work in peace; he needs time to create. APM isn’t just another generic product like most of what’s on this site — APM is a work of art, so respect the artist.

To be fair, yes the story of this VN is better than AWAM. But tease ....Oh god No!!!! Licking panties ?? Really?? AWAM tease, no matter we got bored by same level of tease scene alot..but tease scenes of AWAM are 100 times better than APM. Yes it may contain fantasies that you might not like but scene are 100 times better. I hope MP is not paying you to defend him religiously.

Half of the renders of AWAM is tease / Slow burn in the whole update , with many choices during the tease like holding a dick or not, removing panties or not etc choices and outcomes in every step is different ,...where as MP don't even waste his efforts to show the tease scene properly. Not even 50 renders he make to show tease. 5 nude pose, 1/2 animation (not mandatory ) and that's it.

Next update, whenever it will be launched, do count the number of tease renders MP shows.. sometimes without choices...same scene for all paths. So, the word is not godlike when it comes to APM tease scene, the word is lazy and minimum efforts has been put to show that tease. You will get to know.

Those of us that like the game have our reasons just as you have your opinion. Generally speaking, you want the developer to put on hold his life and crank out content so you could... what?

I wish I could program at that level, but I wouldn't be any faster because of... life and responsibilities. Personally anyone willing to make couch cushion money for a project like this and but serious time and effort behind it ought to at least get a thank you.

This AWAM everyone talks about, I stopped following religiously that game since I had the luck to discover it after part one was done... and since then, let's just say there are some "quirks" in the game's plot. So... in 4 or 5 years I'll pick it up again-- and maybe by then it would be completed. Perhaps that approach would serve you better unless per say you're a Patreon member where money talks and ....

It'll be interesting to see how he tackles it. Will Anna go all in fully committed, or will we she be full of doubt and be reserved? Will she be drunk or sober? Sober, hopefully.

I hope he doesn't half ass it and land us with shit angles showing us next to nothing, running at 15 fps.

If Mr. Palmer does have a "problem" it is very analytical, and careful to get events to playout as he sees them and that takes time... making his vision come to light is rather difficult. Imagine writing a love letter and you want to get the wording just right.

Marvin would be a good first... and no not because he is Marvin, a popular character. Of all the male characters in the game there is no real hangovers the others can cause Anna. At worst he could be a father but that is it. It is no riding off into the sunset with Anna and they lived happily ever after. Another good first would be Timothy/Dale for similar reasons as Marvin. It comes down to writing strategy-- yes Anna will hit the tipping point so do you have your characters with the least consequences be the tipping point or a main character?

Writing 101:

In the case of APM, which is more impactful. If say Chris, a main character and most logical one to be first, is actually first when it comes to Marvin, Timothy/Dale (maybe Marcel) has some of the impact been lost... or if a secondary character is first and there is really no future between Anna and a secondary character does it make it easier to get involved with a main character.

With a main character it'll end bad for Anna... if Anna falls in love with Jake, her heart will be destroyed. If it's Chris, likely feels violated... Hank likely would leave Anna feeling exploited...etc. With Marvin it could be wicked naughty fun
