That's not even the issue. It's that you have all these stats and they seem worthless outside of subby fem and dom masc (the latter of which doesn't even have gay stuff), giving the ILLUSION that you have choices when you don't. I'm not going into "fem gay game upset there's no masculine stuff" (also "macho" is definitely the wrong word to use here), I'm going into a game that misleads/lies about its content.
There's nothing wrong with fem stuff (I'm just not into it); had this game advertised purely as fem, then I wouldn't bother with it. I'm just upset I wasted my time on something that pretends to be more than it actually is, at least in this current version of the game.
This is the exactly it. The problem is that in general there are so many fetishes categorized too broadly and so many games that it takes a significant amount of time to go through them all to find content you actually want.
It is disappointing to see a game that is well written, has great art and a lot of work put into it that seems like it will check all the right boxes just to find that it doesn't after putting time into it.
It is not the devs fault that this is the landscape we are in, but it does not hurt to not explicitly advertise as though it has types of content it doesn't and based on the plot it never will.
It is simply a UX problem, where it mimics the stats of similar games, but unfortunately also mimics the fact that those stats are essentially meaningless
The game is well made, and the stat system is interesting, but the two do not match
