I think he commented during the development of the main game, that he couldn't think of a way to corrupt Aya, so he didn't.
So with this one he went for 'daddy issues' as a last resort and that's it. (that and and Harry being a pathetic loser as always)

The first game from the very beginning - starting even from the main banner - promised 2 main female characters: both Aya and Laura. But in the end, the story stretched - and it was all Laura.
So - if I were to read his mind, as a psyker that I am - he's just trying to deliver an old promise.
You are right but then why did he make it a whole separate game with a separate price tag.

It isn't a cash grab, just very poorly thought out. I hope hangovercat learns from this, but the fact that each patch doesn't change from the last patch's criticisms isn't good. Maybe he is doubling down on the thought that he is trying "something new" and his audience doesn't understand. But this daddy issues storyline isn't exciting in the slightest. So many patches of the same conversation. It is extremely overlong and dull.
