I mean we already knew that was his motive, he mentioned it in other routes except I don't believe he was being serious about the "as him part" because he doesn't actually view himself thag way. He just got but hurt Harry said something mean and wanted to ruin his life over it. If anything, after Maya, how the fuck does Harry remain the exact same person? Going through it the first time either breaks someone or strengthen their resolve. The fact that the exact same thing happened a second time and not only could he not see it but had such weak resolve to push back is honest disappointing.
