Anyone know of a game where this is like a prelude? MC loses his girl to some douchebag, really hits the bottom, but then he pulls himself up, mans up, becomes succesfull, and gets revenge ( or wins the girl back).
Only game I know of is "Mad Turn" ( but that game will take forever, at current pace).

I get that people think she should try hard to resist or to expose Luca, but I am curious what people think would be an effective plan to try to stop Luca. What could she do that would be less dangerous than just giving into being his sex toy for a month? I really can't think of any good moves she could make considering how solid the evidence against Harry is combined with Luca's criminal affiliations that would likely turn out well for her and Harry.

I dont want this to sound like a complaint because it isn't, I understand this is just what in comics would be called plot induced stupidity and for the sake of a story PIS is just going to happen at some point, its not a big deal. It's why batman can fight superman for more than 2 seconds. So just to answer the question she had a plethora of options to stop it at the start or very early. Simply going to a higher up and saying "hey boss wait in this closet and listen to this rapist", Luca comes in like he did, she cuts the camera to make him comfortable and then Luca starts telling everything, like he did. Or she could've bought a second camera, or hell she could've left her phone on record and it would pick up the audio lol its too easy to stop this kind of blackmail nowadays.

College Kings? Hell, a lot of harem games start with a smidge of cuckoldry at the beginning to explain why the protagonist is a horny psychopath. There is a new one called The Builder that has both an alpha and beta path, but boy oh boy is that board pissed about it.

Speaking of playing i guess the hype was really efective since HC blazed through his goals, pretty sure the last 1 will remain reached even if some people drop.

PS: what about the corruption and Harry's POV? Like did she do something unexpected, dramatic or just evil/mean/dirty that she wouldn't have done earlier (kind of like when she called Harry a weakling) and has Harry noticed anything? Or even if he has found a way to delude himself and think everything is alright?

Correct, also early in the game where she's helping out her co-workers and refers to them as weaklings. Harry basically makes her the woman she wants to be. But she's truly the person luca sees

Other than the built-in links, why does this game need net access? Is it sending at regular intervals (or during launch or exiting) information such as how long the executible is running, log data (which contains information such as OS and installation pathway), choices made in game, build version, and so forth? Not saying it's anything nefarious, I'm just curious why there's a need for internet access and what exactly it's sending/retrieving.

All it does is check (once every 24 hour) whether your version is up-to-date. If it isn’t, it shows a warning on the main menu with a link to the new version on Patreon. It’s not gathering data in any way.
