Update: So, as I fired things up with this project again, I went a bit back and forth with how I wanted it to turn out, and progress was a bit slower in the first weeks/months. But now that I've been blessed with some help in the writing/character aspect of the game (by a very good friend), things are coming along a lot faster. I'm almost fully done with the first chapter of the game, and while it is a bit different than the original, I can happily say that I'm way more satisfied with how things are turning out this time.

I don't want to spoil things too much, but this time, the characters are way more fleshed out and cartoony/goofy, something I feel fits the theme of this story better. I remember getting feedback that some of the character's behaviour seemed a bit bizarre last time, so the hope is to make them a bit more believable this time around.

So expect a funny storyline, goofy characters, big titted MILFs and a whole lotta spunk as you experience the "fortunate" protagonist's ventures through his mysterious and quirky hometown.

My goal is to finish the game up completely before I release it, but I will be posting screenshots and teasers along the way. I hope everyone is having a great summer! Till next time .

Love hearing the progress being made, but I would really prefer having chapter by chapter releases rather than a full game. Or do you mean you will release one chapter first and then another?
Either way I am looking forward to seeing what the game (and specifically the MILFs!!) look like

Hey guys! Update-time!

Progress is coming along steadily, but I keep going back to scenes to make them juuust a little bit better. I wanted to let you know that I've been glued to the screen working on ASOFE these last few weeks, and I can honestly say that this is turning out to be WAY better than the original game. The characters are more fleshed out, the graphics are better, I've added a whole buttload of sound effects and there's a cool biography I'm pretty proud of that I want the player to utilize during the course of the game.

Oh, and the fortunate events happens for a reason this time. You'll see!

Hey buddy! I am working on ASOFE in varying intervals, but being the perfectionist I am, I want this to be the best it could possibly be before I release it to the public. It's not quite there yet, but it's getting there. Also, this is not the last version of the first game, but rather a full remake set in an "alternate universe" of sorts. Please keep that in mind! You will know when it drops, and when it does, it's gonna drop like a... something that makes a loud noise!

Hey guys! Been a while! The remake is progressing steadily, but I'm just having so much fun adding new little bits and bobs to it that I've had to learn a bit of proper coding this time around . I don't want to spoil things too much, but there are a bunch more characters involved in the remake, and the story itself won't shy away from going to the, dare I say, supernatural...

On another note, I still want to release a finished game instead of releasing it chapter by chapter. While regular feedback is great, I am a bit concerned that the pressure of having to release it in chapters will take some spark out of me. Now, I have complete artistic freedom, and I'm having so much fun using the original game as a baseline.

I said I didn't want to spoil you, but I also don't want to leave you empty-handed. So, here is a nifty little feature I've added inside the biography for you to play around with when the time comes:
