I cannot; clicking on the icon does nothing, as if there is nothing there. The other icons in the room work. I can double-check later to make sure I'm not misremembering or going crazy.

From your description, it seems like you're confusing the events.

(Force HJ) You don't need a lot of hearts, you just need to open the door sharply while Imouto undressing to make the door disappear, a random chance of success in about 25% of cases

(HJ) If Imouto caught you in the locker room before the bathroom with panties in your hand, you don't need a pink candy.
At least 1 pair of panties will definitely be "gifted" to you with disappointment.

(BJ) A pink candy is needed for the toilet events.

I've confirmed that I'm on 0.82F, and clicking where the icon is does nothing. Clicking any of the other icons works, it's just the shower door that is not working.



The other issue I've noticed is that I have not gotten the night raid event in a long time; it's only happened once or twice, and it was early on. According to the walkthrough, it's based on your excitement score, but I don't know where to check that and how to get it to the level needed to trigger the event.

You have a lot of hearts in total. You'll have to repeat this scene (without panties) several days in a row to reduce the number of purple hearts. When the total hearts are below a certain number (around 7), the scene will be with panties.

So check your gear, when you take off the unnecessary stuff and put on the "sister smile", then start doing dirty things (for example, groping Imouto at night or her panties while she washes), as soon as the desired percentage of desire is reached, a "buff" should appear there.
Once you've received the required buff, test how peeking works.

If nothing helps, delete your saves and start over without hacking or using other people's saves.

Trigger a bathroom scene with HJ without panties (a very dirty event) several in-game days in a row. Each successful event will reduce the number of purple hearts by one. When the sum of the red and purple hearts drops below "very dirty," panties will appear in the scene (a less dirty option).

Dont worry, it was a bug all this time, i downgrade the version to the 0.82 and the game fixed

Extremely strange behavior for a game...

I didn't have that item on my save, so I just went ahead and deleted everything and redownloaded the game, and restarted so I could get it. That fixed the issue with night raids, but the issue with the shower not doing anything persists, so I give up.

I don't know if it's an issue with the game files from here or something else, but it just isn't working.

In theory, if the issue with night raids has been fixed, then you just need to go through the chain of events in the bathroom.

It's all relatively simple here: if you do something vulgar, the parameter increases; if you do nothing, the parameter should essentially freeze. If you let "your emotions" out, the parameter will reset.
There are two pieces of equipment that affect this stat: [Gloves of mercy saint maiden] (Forces sage mode, zero excitement) and the [Sister's Smile] (promotes increased excitement).
