Hello. I need help figuring out if I'm missing any sexy interactions with Imouto. I'm currently 5 purple hearts but I'm not able to do anything new so I'd appreciate it if anyone can help.

Below I'll describe everything I can remember I was able to do, so please avoid reading it if you want to experience the scenes by yourself.

Sorry for the long ass post and also sorry for censoring the words. If you know any lewd scene that I didn't mention here, please tell me the steps to get it.

Thanks!

It is crazy how this 2D game is badly optimized. The dev probably know and hopefully will fix once he finishes it.
Yes, Shiroin is well aware that the game is currently very poorly optimized and still runs on the rather old RPG Maker MV engine. There are plans to move to MZ once the game reaches a basic level of completion.

Related Questions:
Why didn’t they use MZ from the start?

Simply because RPG Maker MV was released in 2015, while MZ came out in 2020. MV already had over five years of community groundwork, with a much richer plugin and creator ecosystem, making it easier to learn and more accessible to work with compared to MZ.

Why not use a better engine like Unity?
The NLCH team didn’t anticipate the game’s popularity, and Shiroin (the developer) has never taken any formal programming courses. That’s why RPG Maker was actually a good starting point for beginners like them.

Why don’t they hire more developers?
The simple answer is money. They don’t have enough funding to do that. Even hiring artists is something they have to think very carefully about. If you’ve been following them, you’ll notice that most of their income comes from art. They’ve made a few small experimental games, but none have been officially released or sold. So when they saw that this project was well-received, they decided to pour all their remaining funds and energy into it.

Some people might think that with the number of sales, they must be doing fine financially, but that’s not exactly true. You might only pay $15 once to buy the game, but they can’t pay a dev and artists salary with a one-time payment. So when you combine their earnings from art and game sales, it’s just enough to keep the project going, not excessive, but not too little either.

Why am I defending them?
I’m not here to defend anyone, I just want to explain things clearly. Some people might say this is pointless since most people here play cracked games. I don’t see it that way. Even though this forum focuses on cracked content, that doesn’t mean there aren’t people here who actually bought the game.

How do I know all this?

How long have we known about this site?
For quite a long time, actually. And yes, we do read the comments. While some are harsh toward the NLCH team, that’s something they’ve learned to accept. They’re used to criticism at this point because no matter how much they explain, there will always be people who find reasons to complain.

Will the game have any anti-piracy measures in the future?
I asked Shiroin directly about this, and he said that it honestly isn’t worth the effort. The exposure the game gets, even from pirated copies, has actually helped it grow a lot. As you know, adult games face heavy censorship, so having more people discover the game is ultimately more beneficial than trying to make it harder to crack. He also understands that many people don’t have access to payment services like PayPal, Visa, or Mastercard, or the motivation to pay for an 18+ game.

After this long post, I just hope people can look at the NLCH team with a bit more understanding. They’re doing their best to meet everyone’s expectations. If anyone still has questions, feel free to ask, I’ll answer whenever I have time.
However, I won’t be responding to any questions related to how to play the game.

Aren't the Yanfly Engine Plugins only available for MV? With how much the game relies on them, I wish him the best of luck migrating to anything else outside MV.
But that's a question for another time. I certainly respect shiroin's commitment to it.

Does anyone know what's going on?
As the error implies, the save file can't be written (it's saved when loading the title screen). You wouldn't happen to have config.rpgsave open in a save editor, would you?

You’ll probably know who I am if you’ve been in the discord long enough, just by looking at my profile picture.

Hey, the comment in my pc is no problem since I don't think anybody can do magic to make it run on a potato, and I guess there are going to be bugs with an unreleased game, just that I'm excited to play it in the future when I actually can. In any case, I can't support the game monetarily and I'm not on the discord channel. But I hope the creator knows he's doing something great.

How do you do the night raid?
MC has to be "excited" (which is a hidden value unless it's shown somewhere that I don't know of), and funnily enough, for me he used to do night raids almost every night just by doing the usual (pranking her while playing games, spying on her on shower etc), but after I got the 5th purple heart that stopped and for me to activate night raids I have to go to the bathroom while Imouto is bathing and keep meditating, that'll increase his excitement and he'll wake up for night raids

This value of "status/parameter" has been "open" since version 0.45, and maybe even earlier...

If there's no buff (this buff may not be present when starting a new game) or a buff like "toilet paper" (sage mode), night raiding will not be possible.
If there's a buff like "volcano" or "enraged man," night raiding will still be possible. However, in later versions of the game, "enraged man" may lead to even more diverse functions.

No, if you cheat, imouto will call you 'zako' followed by NPC's taunting you and having to do extra tedious shit to get what you need. Its retarded, the game just throws you in without any sort of direction and they instantly expect you to master the mechanics. Shit dev.
oh wow, cheating in game turns your little sister into a mesugaki? sounds like an incentive to me

Respect for not going down that route.
You're right about not everyone here being a pirate, I may not be too big on endlessly supporting certain kinds of devs on Patreon (y'all know the ones), but actual finished releases are a different story. I'll probably buy this one too when the time comes.
