Just reposting from the Hypnopics Collective to get opinions here

I know this is probably like a LITTLE late, and I might have the unpopular opinion, but I honestly prefer the original button layout. It feels neater and more put together than some buttons being shifted and some not. It also made navigating with a mouse just a smidgen more convenient since the buttons are usually in the exact same place. However, if it benefits people on mobile and allows them to play with fewer issues then I see no reason why I couldn't get used to it. (I say as if my singular opinion is mega important or something.)

ALSO, low-key glad you posted this here as well as the collective. I personally don't use hypnopics even though I adore this game. So being able to see possible changes and give an opinion is pretty lit.

You can only dig in the Wild Ranges when you know there is something there to dig for. Search the books in the history classroom

To attune/remove a hexagram just cast the teleport spell there is an option to do so if one if present.
Do you know the upgraded version of the Teleport spell, this gives more options

Yes people complete the story chains, the game does give hints and if in doubt talk to people.

Thanks, I am still working on changes, so not too late. So far the few replies have been ambivalent for the change. I have made it so the layout change can be toggled via a phone app, defaulting on always, but you can change if you do not like

I agree the vampire thing is confusing and requires much trial and error to land on the correct sequence if possible (far to easy to bad end and have to save scum).

The dragon gem is also confusing.

Mother superior is the most easily hardlocked thing in the game, though.

Disagree with these. The vampire thing is fairly obvious if you are reading the story. The post above says "what book?". I argue the answer "the book the entire plot of the game is built around" is not too far of a leap for people to make.

No, bologna has stated they do not intend to do any more work on the mod

still working on fixes and some scenes for Ash and Lilith, was going to be some simple scenes but I had an idea and it has complicated it a bit
Also doing quite a few edits, largely for Lilith but some others as well. Attached an edit I did, fairly quick one, cropped down from a larger promotional image for Brazzers. Unsure what to do with it though.

Also ran large parts of the game though image optimisers to reduce some size, but probably the game will be little smaller, add images and shrink others, so more the Red Queen's Race here. I did convert quite a few gif images to mp4 with significant size reductions, one one gif remains in the game and I may convert it too

Real life has been bad lately so excuse some slow work here.

Any of the animated ones with Kate are good examples but anything that is either square or wider than it is tall. The Titus screenshot attached where i've selected titussms3.jpg is what happens generally. If the image doesn't natively fit the screen shape you only get like half the picture, I figured this is due to not wanting to screw up the aspect ratio but i feel like the images used to resize (i could just be misremembering).

I also have an issue where mp4s just pop a new tab rather than add to phone when i click the wall paper button. Was not sure if thats by design but thought i'd mention it. Thats the charley10b screenshot attached.

Version 14.11e Update

Hi, this is another bug fix to close off 14.11 addressing reported problems. I think this will definitely be the last for 14.11. I have also added some small changes, mostly scenes with Lilith. A couple of small requests also added/changed.

This is currently an update only release, except the Android version

Additionally a number of changes to the Android version for ease of use and layout. Some points to note
- while playing the back button is disabled. Please use the close icon at the top. I found myself tapping back too often and exiting the game
- save to file/load from file are hidden as they do not work
- changes to inventory display
- a couple of icons to the top bar

This update is save compatible with previous versions back to 14.8.4

I think I found a bug. The inventory is not showing up on the left and when I press the show inventory button on the right the left menu also vanished. When moving to another location the left menus return.

I didnt know you could fail mother superior. Thats new.

The only thing I've ever had trouble with is charming the mom. Finding the right sequence...Sometimes you never find out where Gabby lives or even when you do it never triggers the meet up. And sometimes the mom just vanishes after going to meet up with Gabby late at night at work.
