Don't think you're giving them enough credit to be honest. Quite a few are actually pretty intelligent.
Intelligent...yes, but not informed, the Orcs don't care about humans and their royality.
Kinda?
The wife of the chieftain is the most intelligent, and on that we can agree.
The chieftain must have some kinda of wit to be a leader.
Tia’s father it’s definitely smart.
But even if some are smart they aren’t assimilated into human culture or have any means to know informations as far as I know.
Sure if they send an old hag pretending to be a princess even the most dumb of the orc can smell a fraud, but if they send a girl of the same age (and if no one snitches) they won’t notice a difference.
Even if this Artemis dude is quite a suspicious guy, even if is probably just a spy
The Chieftain already proved that he is all brass and muscle while his wife is the diplomat and brains.
I wouldn't call Tias father smart... but he is in controll of his own beasts and demons, which is far more than you can tell about most Orcs

Doesn't really matter if they're informed or not. The king coming to the orcs and offering his daughter in exchange for their help in his war is legit. And it wouldn't be the first time the orcs have entered into and agreement with humans after all...

I'm not ruling out some version of a body double but it seems like the king is looking for an alliance with the orcs to help out in his war and sending the daughter really sells his commitment. A switcheroo could be in the cards but there are a lot of complications that would arise there. A rescue (the MC) from the orcs seems like a cleaner option.

You know of precidents?
When MC tried to Negotiate with the advance Camp near Rumah or their main settlement he allways had to fight his way back.
Also the King only send a messenger... useing his true daugther in a political marriage with one of the neighbor countries for example would be better for him... if he only needs to dress up their Maid and say that's my daugther he wins more than actually sending her.

lol ok sure so the story has to always play out as it has before. Got it. But then humans and orcs have made deals before so w/e fine throw a fight in there, who cares

There is no commitment, he will take back the princess when the war ended, he still considers them as barbarians, both Van and his brother made promises here and there for a war that is probably going to fuck both in the butt after one of them wins.
Desperation from both sides, the kingdom is going to be more fragmented than a puzzle.
And what exact complications would arise?

Given that the Orcs have no love for the humans, their god even consider them abonominations that should be cleansed from the world... and probably more important Orcs take what they desire from anyone they consider weaker (which is something they clearly think about humanity)... yes this is VERY likely how this story would proceed... though I don't think MC will actually allow any of this to happen... maybe he'll attack the escort and bring the bride to be to Rumah or the mercanery camp (though the Queen knows about the Camp so she wouldn't be really safe there)

Except that they're constantly banging humans and as I've said have made arrangements with humans before. So can't agree with you on your take here.

But those aren’t humans, they are Umins, half orcs.
This is the very first human-orc state deal we see

...you still haven't said which arangement you are talking about...
They don't bang humans... humans are either food to be and/or cocksleeves to them.
there is no report of an Orc charming a human into being his Moglu/Wanita... they take by force (rape) and either keep them or leave them... those kept still have to fear to end as meal

? The arrangement is the one the MC brokers between the Orcs and Rumah. Simply that they don't attack in exchange for sending girls to them. Thought that was obvious

You mean after he defeated Gurtak their leader and forced the right of the stronger onto him?
I wouldn't call that a deal as Gurtak has no option to refuse... also this is only a thing if you follow the NTR story.

Actually that's not the only scenario as Dasan will send girls over when they attack too. Listen guy I'm not interested in a back and forth about whether or not Orcs will cut deals with humans. They have. And I could care less about if this only happens during an NTR route. Furthermore you suggest Eric marrying his daughter to some foreign country is better for him politically but he even states he wants to essentially double cross then and wipe them out after he's used them. But we'll see how Chyos writes it. He's got plenty to work with.

Well convincing some human to head over to the orcs for starters. I mean it's been done via Rumah but you have to establish some benefit to her. As opposed to just the King making his daughter do it. Seems cleaner/easier.

In Dassans case Gurtak doesn't see it as deal either... Dassan is to weak to face him, so he offers Gurtak pussies in order to be left alone.
Gurtak doesn't want to bother with dealing with the Half Orcs so he simply agrees to accept these offerings.
Deals are made between equals and Dassan is clearly none to any Orc.
And about the King... he can't ensure the virginity of his daugther if he sends her to the Orcs... given the prude nature of the society in Arenfield at the start of the game that is something very important.

But I gues we can agree to disagree.
