That quest has nothing to do with Arianna. You have to free her from HOUSE arrest with her mother and father. Once you talk to her father and get him to talk to the mother she is free from house arrest (As spoiler free as I could say it)

Did you get to the part where she was put under house arrest and freed her after the arrest? She starts off always going into the woods, then after she gets "drugged and freed by the MC" She will eventually be placed under house arrest.
