hmm are you expecting some PS5 live action combat? if so your playing the wrong type of game.... for that kind of combat your you need to looking into Unity or Unreal engine based games
No, I think if the combat is going to be this perfunctory it should be tuned to take up a lot less time. Who in 2024 is enjoying smashing the attack button over and over dealing with random crits and misses?

I'm thankful for the late game mechanics that let you auto-skip easy fights with witchcraft or whatnot, but the level-appropriate fights stay shitty for the whole game.

Both this game and Peasant's Quest have decent worldbuilding trapped the shackles of this 1987-assed JRPG combat system. PQ at least gives you a cheat item that boosts stats by a bunch. This game offers the "Add Level" and "Add Talent Points" cheats but I'm scared to use them because the game already feels buggy enough without messing with any stats.

hmm aren't all combat based games about "random crits and misses" sure in most you can get items to up your chances for a crit but it's still RnG based isn't it?
Oh and to be clear I'm asking since yea the last mainstream game I played was a game called dragon prophet.

You can invest points into Dexterity (I think?... second from the top) trait in order to raise Hit-, Crit chance AND Evade... perception is for raising crit damage, Hit chance AND Evade as far as I recall.
The thoughest enemies go to around Level 60, with both Lyvia and Tia invested in strentght, armor proficiency, Dexterity, Constitution and the rest in Perception and you won't have any issues defeating most enemies with an all out attack on a single target.
Personally I consider combat in Peasants Quest much harder since you need Potions to get some short time boost if you keep missing... AND switch to smaller weapons sometimes reduceing damage output... also your companions tend to suck (Mana regeneration either costs you plenty of mana potions or far to much time)

And just incase you didn't notice I'll raise my hand to the Question of enjoying a challenge while fighting some mobs as it's what you do most of the time when you are not running around getting stuff and cleaning up the mess of other peoples.

Hey! Chyos. I supposed I found a bug. The version of the game I played is v0.5.9.1a. When "sit by the fire" and "attack by orcs" occur simultaneously in Rumah, the game will not be working.

PS: Another bug I found. In the battle, you can't choose which one to heal by the arrow key but the mouse.
PPS: Another bug to report. You still have to pay for your night's stay in the servants' room even if you've already done the kitchen job.
PPS: the screenshot I showed is a bug that Raaisha has not married to MC yet so her breasts shouldn't be shown in public.

So I just started and I'm curious. After doing the prologue, I noticed some of the quests are about improving relations with the various LI. But are there consequences for ignoring that and fucking off to the woods to grind, jerk it, and/or do random shit? Like does stuff progress regardless? Or does it come to a standstill because I haven't done anything? And I noticed there is a day and year counter. Does that progression of time trigger/open up other things?

Essentially am I safe to go spank in the woods until I'm ready to progress?

The claim that MC's corruption is a number between 0 and 200 is a completely different argument.
First, please note before that I said I am only talking about MC and that NPCs have different scales.

As for the 200 scale...
Gwen the witch (isha, goddess of corruption) does not give a 200 cap.
From her walktrhrough

I do recall that way back in the day when the mechanic was first introduced that using the combat skills would let you exceed 100 corruption of gwen (not on the MC), but this was fixed.
As of 0.5.9.1 I just tried it in multiple manual combats using all witchcraft skills that are supposed to raise corruption.
They raised Witch's corruption to 100 and no further.

The actual scale for the MC is:
a. The MC starts out with a corruption value of exactly 50 in a new game which is explicitly noted as being neutral.
b. If your corruption goes below 50 you are explicitly noted as pure.
c. If you corruption goes above 50 you are explicitly noted as corrupt
d. Most sources of corruption cap out at a value of 100. Only two known methods exceed 100 corruption for MC is the two mentioned here earlier.

Are you transferring save from one version to another version. Or new game in 5.9.1?

That just shows you haven't fought enough high Level Enemies though.
Enemies do have a Level cap so eventually MC can overshadow them easily.

You are mixing up alignment with Corruption here.
Corruption starts at a lower Level.
MC can increase his alignment without raising his corruption and vice versa.

Short answer... because you keep jumping over the place contradicting yourself and justify it with explaining your argument... which was lost long ago it seems
True. Alignment vs Corruption are different things, corruption value vs alignment value.

Some noblewoman from the city, dad was her bobyguard and being a chad seduced her.
This is explained as you play the game.
Assuming you view the real story and not the censored for shitreaon version.

speaking, what happened to the discord, there is no longer a link to it on the first post.
Did it get locked to only be for supporters?
His father was never explained at all. Marcus died without telling us that.

Normally you can do what you want. Just be careful about the recommended level of each quest. If you want the best harem result you need to check the walkthrough.

I am assuming you read it with the correct words instead of the patreon censorship words.

Thanks. a shame, he could have just separated out certain channels to supporters only.
Now it means he drastically reduces the amount of free bug testers he would have been getting
Wait there are now 2 version of it. Oh come on! Why!

For most of the game yes. Just disable NTR and do that whatever you want. Very few quests are time limited to fail if you don't disabled NTR. I hate it so disabled.

Chyos would have to name such mods though and based on what I heard of one of the guys before he quit, it was a hellscape where people were ganging up and openly insult and attack people that wouldn't be part of their group.
Meme comes to mind. Buzzlightyear.

"Idiots, idiots everywhere!"

Can't they just stay in their own camps. Nope have to throw rocks on others when they are sitting in glass castles themselves.

So you just have to power through literally 5+ hours of watching turn based battle guys smack each other, until you hit the level cap and the battles speed up?

I feel like I've done everything I can as far as upgrading my weapons and armor but the game is insistent on keeping the combat slow and boring. Why?
I use auto battles to just run through the enemies after I have Tia and Lyvia in my team. Leveling up becomes easy that way instead of turn based battles.

Once upon a time I might've disabled it but eh. I mean I despise NTR as a concept and when it's a forced focal point. But I have no issue with it as a punishment (just more motivation to do it right) for fucking up. I mean as long as the mistake that leads to it isn't dumb as all hell. Like making an inconsequential choice that somehow using 32d lvl logic. Ends up with a girl getting dug out... because reasons. But having browsed through the thread. It seems that you won't just magically trip and fall into it so.

I was just wondering if I was free to ignore and do whatever I want in the early game without worry or not.
