first, you have to take it to the blacksmith for him to look at, then see the shop owner for him to make the potions for it
I did both of those things, and don't see making ebonite armor as an option. I checked the anvil too. I thought I needed to find the recipe like I did with the orc armor.

oh sorry not sure, then, yeah I looked at my game and it was the Abyssalweave armor that I was thinking about, where you need the leather, and then you soak it to make it stronger.

The current version seems bugged.
In my playthrough Lyvia's skill Bloodpoison has been replaced by Massacre (one of Tia's newer skills).

I am not sure if I should replay several hours from the last save without it: this is even kind of an upgrade for Lyvia, but I am afraid it will lead to some other unforseen consequences.
Does anybody else has the same bug?

UPD: it seems like the Massacre skill is gained with the help of Gritwail sword (one of Melissa's treasures) and it dissapears when you unequip it, so the presense of Massacre seems like WAD
And Bloodpoison dissapears because the Shadowstone sword that gave it is now unequiped
