I know I went here and killed all the enemies and nothing happened and it still says find them where they are hiding
what version did the monastery quest start? I did everything up to there on a no ntr run lost the saves quit playing found backup saves but forgot where to go from there at the monastery quest, I'm at the part where the wagon just arrives at the town

The possible reasons for this bug are :
-code error but it's very unlikely, would only be fixed with a patch from dev
-one of the audio files is missing or corrupted, this is lot more likely to be your problem.
Looking at the error log you have a problem with the file named "Medieval Fantasy Music Pippin the Hunchback - Kevin MacLeod.rpgmvo", I've attached an archive of that file, extract it in "www/audio/bgm" folder and overwrite if prompted, it should fix you problem.

Oh wow. I've been going through
quest and thought it was really strange to have to go through Arianna's to unlock traps. That alone makes this update worth it. Nice.

To complete the quest you need to wait till the goblins respawn then defeat Snikka a second time.
I don't know If my suggestion is okay.
We can have defensive structures inside the mine for protection.
MC leads the defense against Goblin hordes which try to reclaim the mine.
Then, workers are paid to build barricades and defence (Ballistas, section fortification, traps, etc).
This can allow us to expand the layer and build some mine layer conquest mechanics.
(MC gains more fame and profits)
Keeps Mercenaries alive with better armour and monks.
*This can allow MC to expand his mercenary company in secret...Have self-sustain agriculture, weapon&armour maintenance*

We'd lose a lot of stuff as a renpy game. The other sandbox fantasy games I know off on renpy all just use the map to move from location to location and are just point and click.wish game could be ported to renpy.. imagine this as as a sandbox in renpy?

That would bug me, as I enjoy the play style this gives. Some what like Chrono Trigger with walking through places and traveling.
